I beamed at Harry before turning excitedly back to the window. At the moment all I could see what white, because we were passing through a cloud. In my opinion, though, it was still magnificent. For some reason I loved to ride in airplanes, which came in handy when my dad and I were traveling back and forth across country.

"Isn't it beautiful?" I said, turning back to Harry. He leaned forward to look past me out the window and raised a mocking eyebrow.

"What?" he asked. "The cloud? Why yes, Alex, I think it's absolutely gorgeous." I rolled my eyes and lightly shoved his shoulder, making him laugh. I focused my gaze back on the window. Suddenly the whiteness disappeared, and I saw pleasant hills rolling miles into the distance.

After a while more of looking out the window, an air hostess with a cart rolled up to our seat. I looked at her with a brilliant smile overcoming my face. Included in my love of airplanes was a love of airplane foods and the workers on an airplane - but not this girl.

She smiled flirtatiously at Harry and offered, "Would you like a menu, sir? Or maybe I can start you off with a beverage?" She completely ignored me, focused intently on flirting with Harry.

"A Pepsi would be wonderful, thanks," I said somewhat sternly, catching the woman by surprise. She glanced over to me as if she hadn't noticed that I was even there, which infuriated me further. Harry must have noticed, because he reached over and gently rested his hand on mine. The air hostess let out a poorly concealed grunt and continued pushing her cart along.

"Wait!" Harry called after her. "Can I get a Pepsi too?" The girl rolled her eyes angrily, but agreed to getting him his drink. We both laughed and sat back in our chairs, looking out at the rolling green hills.

A long, long while later, we had stepped off of the plane and into LAX. Harry, having been here before, led me to where we would pick up our luggage. I noticed that it was extremely crowded. There were people string with cameras (tourists, probably) standing around every inch of the wheel that carried everyone's luggage around.

Harry spotted our bags, and we dove into the crowd. Unlike letting us through as I had expected they would, the group wove tighter together. Only then did I see that these weren't regular airport goers - they were teenage girls with cellphones whipped out, and the ones who weren't girl were full grown men with massive cameras.

"Harry!" they were all shrieking. "Harry, Alex, over here! Guys can I snap a pic? HALEX!" I frowned at the last part.

"What the heck is a halex?" I called into the mob. Harry smirked a little before bursting into laughter, along with many of his fans. I gave them a dumbfounded look. How was I supposed to know what a 'halex' was?

One of the girls yelped, "Harry and Alex, duh! Oh my God can I get a picture? I can't believe I'm talking to Halex!" Harry sighed, then continued to force his way through the crowd. Eventually they realized that we needed our suitcases and were kind enough to hand them over.

Luggage in hand, Harry dragged me away from the cameras, girls, and paparazzi. He brought me closer to the door, which was our main destination. We were about to leave, but I was stopped. I wasn't surprised when they followed us. I didn't quite know why I had stopped walking, because they had already gotten plenty of pictures of us.

Then I finally looked down. Tugging at my hand was the cutest little five-year-old girl, and she had a big hopeful grin on her face. I smiled back at her, noticing that she was wearing a much too large One Direction t-shirt.

"You're Alex, right?" she asked, and I nodded. The girl continued matter-of-factly, "I think you're really pretty and you and Harry will be together forever. Pretty girls and pretty boys always end up together." At that, my heart melted a little bit. I kneeled down to get closer to the girl, then suddenly her arms were around me.

I hugged her back and smiled, "Thanks, honey! And just so you know, I think you're real pretty yourself." She beamed at me as I stood back up. Harry was ready to leave, and so was I, so I gave her little hand one last squeeze before stepping out of the airport.

Our hotel wasn't far from the airport, but Harry had other ideas than just going there. He shoved our luggage into a taxi and told the driver to bring it to the lobby of our hotel and tell them to bring it up to room 345. Much to my surprise, the man driving the car agreed to do just that (it might have had something to do with twently dollar bill that Harry tipped him with).

"Come on," Harry said excitedly after the cab pulled away. He grabbed my hand and tugged me down the street, which was full of people.

"Harry," I said, "Where are we going? How do you know this area so well?" He glanced up and down the road before pulling me across it.

He answered, "I'm not quite sure where we're going, and I don't know this area that well. However, I thought that we should do a bit of adventuring during our time in the states. Los Angeles had loads of things to do, you know."

I rolled my eyes at his words, but also laughed a bit and joined him in the adventurous feeling. If he wanted to explore L.A., I was going to explore it with him. As he had said, there was lots of things to do here, and chilling out in a hotel room wasn't going to get it done.

The only problem was, neither of us had any idea what those things were.
