Niall's POV
I could not believe that we were sitting here right now, could not believe that we were doing this. I felt absolutely awful as I nervously fidgeted with the hem of my shirt. Didn't they feel awful? Why didn't they feel awful?
"Oh they're going to be so surprised," Liam squealed excitedly. "Can you imagine the looks on their faces? It'll be priceless! Especially when they see the extra gift we brought along! God I can't wait." He expected an equally excited response out of me, but all I could was smile weakly and nod. He really didn't understand the situation I was in.
None of them did, though, and I honestly didn't expect them to. It wasn't their responsibility to pay attention to every detail of my personal life (thank God). I think Louis almost understood what was going on, but he just wouldn't say anything.
Zayn chimed in, "It'll be marvelous! I still can't believe we're doing this." Me neither, Zayn, me neither. But I think we have some different reasons for not believing it.
"Yeah," I agreed, laughing nervously. "This really is mad, guys. Are we sure we want to go through with it?" They all stared blankly at me for a moment, then burst into laughter. They thought I was joking. I definitely was not joking, but all I could do was try to join them in the laughter. It kind of came out as more of a whine.
"Very funny, mate," Louis said, clapping me on the shoulder. I forced a smile at him before turning away again, so I could look out the window. For miles around all I saw was grass - fields and hills of it.
Obviously enough, my mind was not on the grass. I was so nervous that I felt like I would throw up, and I still had five hours of sitting down left. My thoughts kept drifting off to what would happen tomorrow afternoon. It was terrifying, just the thought of it. How would I possibly face the reality that was coming up so quickly?
"Hello, boys," a woman approaching us said with a bright grin. "Can I get you anything to eat? How about you, Mr. Horan?" I blinked at her blankly. My answer was instinctive, took me less than an instant to say.
"No. Thanks, but not hungry."
I felt three sets of astonished eyes turning to look at me, each pair wider than the last. I tried my best to ignore them by training my gaze on my feet.
"Niall James Horan," Zayn breathed, "did you just say you're... not hungry?" He chuckled teasingly, and this time I actually joined him with ease. To the rest of the boys I was kind of known for my eating habits, so this probably surprised them quite a bit.
Louis shamefully said, "What has gotten into you, my boy?" We all laughed at that, and only then did I notice the confused look on the woman who was standing before us. I assured her that none of us wanted anything to eat before restarting my fit of giggles.
"Seriously, though, what's up with you Niall? You've been awful quiet," Liam commented. I frowned, knowing that he wouldn't let up until I gave him an answer.
"Nothing," I said. "Just nervous, I guess." Yes, nervous about possibly puking. Nervous about in an airplane so high off of the ground. Nervous about crashing one of my best mate's vacation with a girl that he and I had both fallen for.

Alex's POV
I sat on the couch impatiently fidgeting with my hands and watching Harry pace back and forth across the room. He had been doing that with a phone held against his ear ever since we had gotten to the hotel, which had been nearly an hour ago. The room, by the way, was pretty darn amazing.
