Harry walked into the room silently, and I pointedly kept my eyes on the floor. The rest of the boys, however, watched him intently as he brushed past us to the counter in the mini kitchen. He grabbed his phone off of it and stalked back into his bedroom.

We were silent for a moment before Niall offered, "Alex, maybe you should come down to our room - I don't know if this is the best place for you to be right now." I hesitated for a second, then nodded. He was right about this not being the right place for me to be. If Harry was somewhere, I definitely didn't want to be there. At least not right now.

"Come on, then," Liam said, standing and walking toward the door. "There's no need to hang around here any longer. I think Harry needs some, erm, alone time right now." We all stood and joined him, Louis scooping Sugar off the couch as he went, then the five of us started down the hall.

When we made it to the room Zayn and Liam branched off, saying that they were going to get a pizza for lunch.

"I just made you all sandwiches!" Louis argued. He folded his arms and made a pouting face, obviously trying to act upset that his food wasn't enough for them.

"Oh, let them get one," Niall said as he unlocked the door to the hotel room. "We ate those sandwiches at least an hour ago, y'know. I'm basically starvin' at this point!" Liam and Zayn nodded enthusiastically, and Louis sighed.

He submitted, "Alright, alright. We can get a pizza. I'm coming with you, though. We don't need any more trouble than what's already been caused. Do you want anything, Al Berry?" I shook my head and Louis shrugged. He handed me my kitten, making her meow in protest of being moved. I gratefully took her.

"She likes me now!" Louis exclaimed, beaming. "Okay bye guys, we'll back soon with food." We waved at them as they ran down the hall, and once they disappeared around the corner Niall and I entered the room.

Niall headed towards the bathroom and I set Sugar on the counter - right where Harry's phone had been on our counter, I noticed. My shoulders slumped over at the thought of him. He was really mad, and I still didn't understand why. The two fights would definitely bring bad publicity, but for both of us. Didn't he understand that I was being too in this situation?

Sugar meowed again, snapping me out of my thoughts. She sat down impatiently, swiping her tail to and fro across the counter. I realized that she was probably hungry, and began searching the cabinets for cat food.

Niall's POV

When I came out of the bathroom I found Alex rifling through the small pantry that was in the miniature kitchen of the hotel room. I stopped in the living room a few feet away from her and watched her search. She seemed different now, somehow... quieter. Perhaps it was just because she was upset, but it still bothered me. What if she never -

"Hey Ni!" Alex called. "Do you know where the cat food is?" I blinked, surprised for a moment, then hurried over to her. I though back to where Lou had said he would keep the food. I glanced around, my eyes landing on Sugar.

"Oh yeah, we got the refrigerated kind!" I remembered. Alex sighed and walked over the fridge, searching for a couple of seconds before triumphantly pulling out a can of cat food.

"Ooo, fancy," she remarked. I laughed, nodding. Al began attempting to open the can, but couldn't pull the tab up. For a couple of seconds I just watched her, biting back laughter. She noticed my giggly expression and stuck her tongue out at me.

"Here, let me try," I said, grabbing a side of the small can.

Alex didn't let go as she protested, "No I got it, Ni. Just give me second I can get it open." At this point we were both pulling at the lid from opposite sides.
