I was so happy with how my training went today. Even though I was exhausted I still found the energy to run down to the old man's apartment. I wanted to let him know that I was making considerable progress before leaving for my patrol.

"Hiroto!" I yell bursting through the door.

He lifted his head from the book he was reading to look at me.

"Hi, (Y/n). Glad to you're in a good mood." He said while putting his book down and smiling at me.

"You finished training for today?"

"Yes. And I finally managed to do that high kick. Oh... and also my left hook is way stronger now. Almost as powerful as the right one."

I smiled widely at him. Su isn't home, so I'll tell him the news later.

"That's great. You're doing well. Are you sure you're not pushing yourself too much?"

"Nah.. it's fine. I need to push to succeed."

"I know. I know. Ready to go on patrol?"

"Yeah. I'll take an apple since I didn't eat very much when I got home from the cafe."

"I told you, you have to eat to be strong. At least you ate at lunch when you got to the cafe?"

"Yeah, I did. And I know, but I had a lot of homework. Sorry."

"It's fine. I understand."

I took the apple and headed for the door to go back up and change in my hero costume.

"Be careful out there." He said and I turned to face him.

He had a worried look in his tired old eyes.

"I will. Don't worry about me. You know I can handle myself."

He sighed, came up to me and pulled me into a hug.

"I know."

I immediately tensed and he let go of me.

"You know, you'll need to work on that. I know what you've been through and I know how hard it is on you. But this behaviour... it isn't normal. People will take notice of it."

I sighed and looked up at him.

"I know and I'm working on it. But it's not that easy..."

"I know. Now go. People are waiting for you."

I smiled and walked off. I walked out of his apartment with an apple in my hand closing the door behind me. But as I took my leave I heard a loud thud coming from inside.

I went back inside only to find the old man on the floor, gripping his shirt and struggling to breathe. I immediately dropped the apple and rushed to his aid, leaving the door wide open.

"Hiroto! Hiroto!" I yelled shaking him. I didn't know what to do or how to snap him out of it.

"Hiroto! What's going on? You're scaring me..."

I grabbed my phone from my pocket and dialed the emergency number.

"Hello. What is your emergency."

"It's my neighbour. He is an old man and he just collapsed on the floor. It seems that he can't breath."

"What is your address?"
