The day went on like usual after the little incident with Mr. Aizawa.

'This will be a major inconvenience...'

I had no idea how I was supposed to go on my patrol tonight. I'm expected to stay the night at Todoroki's house...

I've spent the entire lunch break dealing with Mr. Aizawa and I didn't get the chance to eat, not that I was really bothered by it. It's not like I was hungry, I just knew I needed the energy food gives me to keep up with my crazy program, especially since I don't get too much sleep.

I was lost in my thoughts, thinking about how I was going to deal with this whole situation, and I didn't realise that the bell had rung, announcing the end of the day.

I was staring down at the papers on my desk while playing with a pen between my fingers. I snapped out of my trance only when I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder.

I looked up from my papers only to be met with Todoroki's heterochromatic eyes.

"Are you ok?" He asked in a monotone voice.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I said as I got up from my desk and started packing my stuff.

I took notice of the clock on the wall that said ten minutes had passed since the classes had ended and of the classroom that was now empty, the only ones still inside being me and Todoroki.

When I was done I closed my backpack and then turned to face Todoroki who was waiting for me.

"You're ready?" He questioned with the same flatness in his voice.

"Ready?" I repeated confused.

"To head to my house." He clarified.

'Wait. Now?!'

"What? I can't right now." I said as I placed my backpack on my shoulders.

"Why?" He asked, this time sounding concerned, but just a tad.

"I have responsibilities outside of school too, you know?" I answered, thinking that I have to at least go to my shift at the cafe.

"Like what?"

"It's personal." Was my vague answer.

'It's not like I'd just go around telling people that I have a job. They'd ask why aren't the money my parents bring home enough. And I can't truthfully answer that without getting into trouble.'

"Ok... But Mr. Aizawa said..."

"Yeah... I know what Mr. Aizawa said..." I cut him off while thinking of a solution. "Give me your phone." I requested, extending my hand forward.

"Why?" He questioned, but still placed his phone in the palm of my hand.

I quickly put my phone number in his phone before giving it back to him.

"Text me the address and I'll be there around eight."

"That's too late." He said as he placed his phone back in his pocket.

"It's either that or I ignore the deal I made with Mr. Aizawa and just stay home alone." I threatened him.

"Ok. Fine. Eight it is." He gave in reluctantly.
