Friday had finally arrived and I was more than happy to be over with this week. School went on like usual, pretty boring.
Recently, my relationship with Su has been kind of cold; he was haunted by the memory of his late brother and I, by the regret that I couldn't save him. Tomorrow it will officially had past two years since Hiroto died.
We'll just have to get through this weekend and then everything will, most likely, go back to normal. Until then, I got nothing else to focus on except my patrols, now that Mr. Aizawa has decided to stop giving me extra homework.
After a quick warm-up, I left on my patrol. Since today we had basic hero training, I already was in a pretty good shape. But the patrol was just as boring as the day had been so far. Jumping from one building's roof to another, I watched carefully the seemingly peaceful streets.
Nothing.

"Do you really have to go...?" I finally questioned my husband after a small pause of hesitation.
"I'll be back in two days..." He started as he placed his hands on my waist to pull me into a loving hug. "You wanna tell me you won't be fine for two days while I go on an official mission?" He asked with a small smirk on his lips.
I just grumbled in response while trying to push him away. He wouldn't budge, but it wasn't like I was pushing him with all my strength.
"Aw... I'll kick those villains' asses and then get back home to you right away, okay?" He questioned as he tightly hugged me.
"Okay..." I grumbled with my face buried in his chest.
After a sweet moment of us just staying like that, in each other's arms, I spoke up to bring us back to reality seeing he wasn't going to break the embrace.
"You have to go or you'll miss your plane..." I said tiredly.
"Wow... Are you really that anxious to get rid of me?" He asked teasingly as he grabbed one of his suitcases.
"No... You know what I mean..." I mumbled as I grabbed his other suitcase and followed his lead to the front door.
A cab was waiting for him. We placed both suitcases in the car's trunk before closing it.
"Yeah, I know... But it's so much more fun teasing you..." He said before he took my hand in his. "I promise I'll move faster than Ingenium..."
"Don't make promises you can't keep..." I started tiredly, but after a small sigh escaped my lips, I continued with a bit more compassion. "Just be careful..."
"I will... You too, though... Don't you have a patrol tonight?" He questioned as he squeezed my hand.
"I do, but I know the city... unlike you with the city you're going to..."
"Just say you'll be careful and I'll be out of your hair."
"Ok... I promise I'll be careful." I said determined.
"Alright... then I'll be on my way... See you in two days..."
"Yeah... See you in two days... Bye..."
"Bye..." He said as he got in the cab.
The second the back door closed after Hizashi, the cab drove off. When they turned a corner, I dropped my hand. Turning on my heels, I headed back inside for a quick nap before my patrol.
