The week had been passing by at a rate too slow for (Y/n)'s liking. Day after day after day, always the same. Morning routine, school, cafe, extra homework, patrol, sleep and repeat.

She never had a problem with her routine. She actually enjoyed it as she always knew what she had to do... she found comfort in it... but as the days past by she started realising just how tiring her program could be at times.

She never imagined that the extra homework would cause her so much trouble. The exercices were simple, but they were many. She barely managed to finish them before she rushed on her patrol, almost always half an hour later than she originally intended. The dark circles under her eyes only grew to Mr. Aizawa's displeasure.

After her episode in the teachers' lounge that hasn't been addressed since, he kept an eye on her, but from a fair distance and, everytime he asked for her extra homework to correct, he was always amazed that she had the whole thing, even though he never showed it.

He was more and more impressed with each time he looked through her papers as he didn't manage to find a single mistake in her work. He knew she is smart, but there were, firstly, many exercices and, secondly, hard exercices. The exercices he gave her were harder and harder with each set of them that she resolved perfectly, but she kept on doing them perfectly nonetheless.

Mr. Aizawa noticed her eyebags that kept growing as days past by, but he just assumed she had sleepless nights, though a voice in the back of his mind yelled at him that it was more to it than just slight insomnia. He had no way of knowing her insane program or about the nightmares she had almost every night.

A week and a half had passed by since the USJ attack and (Y/n) was getting ready for another boring and tiring day as she changed into her school uniform.

She stared at herself in the bathroom mirror glad to see that there was left no scar on her face... no trace that Shigaraki had ever came near her, the old scar from her mother remaining the one and only scar that was present on her face.

Before she put on her shirt, she scratched her back as she felt old scars itching. She thought it was just in her head as healed scars can't cause those kinds of feelings, but the two wide scars between her shoulder blades often bother her.

She threw another glance at her small frame in the mirror as she arranged her tie around her neck before she exited her bathroom.

The day went smoothly and boringly as always. She was robotically making her way across an empty hallway towards her next class. She stopped dead in her tracks as she thought she had heard some voices immediately followed by a quiet thud.

"You still wanna be a hero!? When are you gonna wake up?" A boy's voice reached (Y/n)'s ears and, as she realised what was happening, she started silently making her way towards the noise.

"You should just drop out... and also... leave Mirio alone. He deserves better than to have you as a friend, Chicken Legs." Came another boy's voice and (Y/n) was waiting for the one being bullied's comeback, but she soon came to realise that the victim wasn't about to say anything.

After a right turn she could see the scene that immediately made her heart ache. In the middle of an empty hallway were three boys. While two were standing, the third was on the floor under their smug stares. They all looked older than (Y/n), but she couldn't care less as she kept walking, slowly approaching the boys.
