I woke up panting, but the quietness of the house let me know I didn't scream because Mr. Aizawa wasn't moving to see if I was okay. I checked my phone and saw it was five in the morning.

'I woke up before my alarm again...'

I sighed as I got up since I knew there was no point in going back to sleep... not that I could fall asleep again so soon anyways...

I quietly made my way towards Mr. Aizawa's bedroom, silence my only companion. I cracked his door open just enough to see his sleeping form hidden under the safety and comfort of his blankets, his black hair laid out on his pillow, the only part I could actually see of him.

With the same lightness in my steps, I headed for his kitchen to start preparing some breakfast for the both of us. I still moved as quietly as I possibly could, afraid to wake him up... nervous about the very serious conversation we must have.

The only sound was the sizzling of eggs in their pan, but that too was so quiet I doubted it could escape the kitchen's walls. When the eggs were done, I covered them to keep them warm until Mr. Aizawa will wake up. And because I felt like I needed to keep my hands busy, I went to make us a salad to go with those eggs.

Opening the fridge to get what I needed, my eyes slipped to a six pack of beer.

'Never would've thought Mr. Aizawa was the type to drink alcohol...'

I got the vegetables I needed and returned to the countertop to prepare them. When I was done I placed the bowls next to the covered and still warm eggs before I placed the vegetables I didn't use back in the fridge. And as I let the door close itself, my eyes drifted once again towards the beer cans, my hand stopping the door from closing.

I glanced behind me where, high on a wall, was rhythmically ticking a clock, it's arms reminding me of how early in the morning it was. The fridge protested with a high-pitched sound against me holding the door open any longer. So, glancing back inside, I lingered on the beer cans.

'I really shouldn't...' Was all I could think before the fridge protested again and I closed the door.

Nothing else left to do but wait for him to wake up and, as I waited for him on the couch, I ran through all the possible turns our conversation could take... just to keep my mind busy.

The smallest sound coming from Mr. Aizawa's bedroom caught my attention and, since it didn't feel like it was coming from him, I stood up and went to check. And I was right. He was still sleeping soundly. The noise had come from his phone, the one for emergencies which was attached to his utility belt, just like I keep mine.

I grabbed it and immediately exited his bedroom. Going back to the couch, I opened his phone and then the emergency message he had just received.

It was from Kamui Woods and he was requesting Eraserhead's immediate help in taking down a villain somewhere kind of close to his house.

I didn't want to wake him up after the night he just had so I didn't, but probably the stupidest decision I could've made in that moment was going myself to help the heroes defeat the villain... and I still did it.

It felt like I was making one bad decision after another and, admitadly, they were getting worse and worse and I kept making them anyways.

'So dumb...'

But none of my thoughts were strong enough to stop me so, after leaving Mr. Aizawa a quick note, I grabbed my things and left, ready for a fight.
