'What the hell happened to me...? What was that?'

I had absolutely no clue as to where I was, but I could feel that I was laying on my back.

My eyelids felt incredibly heavy, making it hard for me to open my eyes. I tried to move my hand up to my eyes so I could rub off the heaviness, but that's when I noticed that I couldn't.

I couldn't move neither of my hands, both of them being tightly wrapped in something holding them down next to my hips. The more I squirmed, I noticed that my ankles were also tied down and that the surface that I was laying on was really uncomfortable.

My lips and throat were dry, my stomach was empty and my head hurt. I finally managed to open my eyes, but just slightly. There were some blinding white lights right above me.

'Where the hell am I...? I've never been here before... What's this place...?'

To say that I was feeling anxious was an understatement. I was terrified. I tried my best to calm down so I could properly analyze the new room that I was thrown into.

Everything was a blinding white. The walls, the ceiling, the small portion of the floor that I could actually see... all white. I was tied down to what seemed to be a metal table.

'If this table is actually made of metal, then... It's not cold... So... I've been sitting here for quite a while, haven't I...?'

There was nothing else in the room. It was just me laying on a table in the middle of a white room. The only thing that stood out to me was that on one of the walls I could see a window.

'I can't even believe it... I haven't seen a window in so long...'

Though there was something off about this window. I couldn't see anything on the other side of it. In fact, it was black, the only thing that wasn't white within the room, and in it I could only see the reflexion of the white room.

There was something nerve wracking about the window. It was like I could feel something or someone lurking behind it... staring at me...

When nothing happened, I tried to remember what actually happened and how I ended up here. I tried my best to focus, but my increasing headache was making it more difficult than it should have been.

'I remember running... I think I was running...
Were you trying to escape again?
That must be it, right? So... wait... Is this some new form of punishment...?
What else can you remember?'

I closed my eyes trying to replay the events in my head.

'He caught me... the handler...
Yup. I remember that, but then what next...?
I don't really know... It's kind of foggy, isn't it...?
Yeah...
But I think I remember feeling something...
Oh?
It was like... like something stabbing my neck... but that couldn't be right...
Well... I don't know... Maybe it is...
But then... What could it have been...?'

When the voice in my head stopped answering back I opened my eyes once again. The silence was deafening.

I could hear my heart beats. Though it had a rather calm rhythm, after a couple minutes of complete silence, from the room and from the voice inside my head, my heart rose to my throat, quickly speeding up its rhythm.
