New Friends, or Old?

Part 4 - The Next Morning

*George POV*

I woke up feeling really cozy, I didn't want to get up, but I knew I had work and so I had no choice sadly. I open my eyes and stiffen for a moment not recognizing where I was, till I remember that Dream asked me to watch a movie with him. I don't remember what the movie was or how much I was able to watch before passing out I guess on him.

I relax and look up seeing Dreams face, him still asleep. I smile, he looks so handsome. I try to slowly get up to not wake him but his arms were around my shoulders. I carefully manage to free myself from his hold and place the blanket that we ended up sharing over him. I pick up my glasses and as I'm putting them on, out of the corner of my eye I see Dream sit up then I feel his arms wrap around me again. He nuzzles his face into my neck and sighs, making me freeze.

"Come lay back down with me for another 5 minutes." He says.

I try to gently push him off. "Dream, I have to get ready to go to work. We can hang out more later okay?" He must still be half asleep, I don't think that he would be acting like this if he wasn't. 

He then gives me a quick kiss on the check. "Okay, I'll see you after work then cutie." He then lays back down and quickly goes back to sleep. I'm left a blushing mess.

I then pick up the rest of my stuff and walk over to my place to get a quick shower and change my clothes before going to the bus stop to go to work.

*Dream POV* 

I wake up and notice right away that George isn't here. I look at the time, it's about 10, he must be at work by now. I decide to finish working on the plugin for SapNap. 

*Time Skip yay*

I've finished the plugin and give SapNap a call. 

He answers after just a moment. "Hello?" 

"Hey Sap, I've got the plugin finished, you free to record right now?" I ask as I stretch out in my chair.

"I'm out with a friend right now, so I can't record. He's taking forever in the bathroom right now so I can talk for a little bit if you want." He says, I can hear the smile on his face. 

I look at the time, I still had a few hours before George was off work. "Sure, I've got some time time to kill."

"Oh, do you have a hot date tonight?" 

I blush ever so slightly. "He's hot yes, but we're not going on a date tonight."

"Dream, you have yourself a boyfriend?" He says with a joking voice.

"You remember me telling you about that childhood friend I used to have?" I wait for a moment to hear him give a quick yes in answer. "Well, I've got him back in my life. And honestly, I've fallen more in love since I've got to hang out with him again."

"Okay, do you know if he remembers you or feels the same about you?" He asks.

"I'm not sure. I picked him up after work yesterday and we went out on kind of a half date. We went out to dinner and walked around the beach. I even got to hold his hand for most of the night, but that was because the waitress was trying too hard to flirt with me and I asked if he wanted to help me mess with her and have a fake date with me." I told SapNap with a smile on my face remembering how nice last night was.

"Well, he didn't say no, so it looks like you have at least some sort of in." It then sounds like he talked really quick to someone else.

"I guess, anyway we can talk about the lack of a love life for me any time. I'll let you get back to your date." I then end the call before SapNap could even answer. 

Patches then hops on my desk. I get a quick picture of her to send to George for him to enjoy later. 

Me: I don't think she's mad anymore, 
she's decided to come help me at work.

Just kind of a short filler this time around, but it has cute none the less.
