I'm afraid because I know I can't fight forever
Those were the words that pop in my head as I stood face to face to Perseus, the man who was destined to slay my lover. "Who are you", Perseus asked. Without a second thought I charged at him as I swung my sword. I heard the rip of fabric. He kept dodging my attacks soon after that. He jumped back to create distance between us.
"You're y/n aren't you", He stated. I ignored him and kept trying to attack him. He dodged me so effortlessly as if he wasn't taking me seriously. I growled in anger before leaping forward to tackle him to the ground. I raised my sword up on the air ready to pierce his heart, but suddenly I heard him grab something out of his pocket and then blew whatever it was at me. I felt the dust land in my eyes. I grabbed my face in pain, whatever this dust was it burned my eyes so bad, almost as if my eyes were melting. I felt him shove me off of his body. I stood up slowly rubbing furiously at my eyes.
"You're lover is coming, I'm sorry I had to do this to you", he said before running off. "GET BACK HERE, YOU BASTARD", I screamed still rubbing at my eyes. "Y/N! What did he do to you", Medusa asked as she grasped my shoulder. I stopped rubbing my eyes only to see the ground? Wait I can see, that was healing dust.
"Y/N! Look at me", Medusa said as she began to turn me around. "WAIT N-", I tried to say, but it was too late, I see her. My heart stopped when I did. She was beautiful, she had such smooth scaly green skin and long beautiful green snake hair. Her lips were just how imagine them, plump and soft. I felt the my hands slowly stop moving and my legs staying in place. "Y/n your eyes aren't clear anymore", Medusa questioned before her eyes widened. "You can see me", she gasped, causing me to give her a sad smile. I felt the tears beginning to fall from my eyes.
"I can finally see you, you're so beautiful", I mumbled as tears filled my eyes. "No no no no", Medusa whimpered as she started to panic. I felt her pull me into a tight hug, even when my legs couldn't bend she tried to. One of my stoned legs broke off causing me to flinch in pain. "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry", she sobbed into my shoulder. The stone was up to my waist now.
"Medusa, look at me", I cried out. She pulled away from me to stare into my eyes one more time. "You're so beautiful, just like how I imagine you", I sighed as I raised my hand to her cheek to rub her skin, before the stone engulfed my elbows. "No, they're has to be a way to fix this no no no", she cried as she hoping the stone will stop. She finally grasped the hand on her cheek. The stone was up to my shoulders. In one last breath I said
"I love you"
My heart has stopped, My body was now in a stone prison and my soul has left my body.

3rd pov
Perseus watched from a distance as Medusa clung to the stoned girl. If he was just a random person walking by, he would've thought the scene before him was the most heartbreaking thing he has ever seen in his life. In reality, he didn't care. He thought Y/n was crazy for loving a monster like Medusa. Perseus then stood up and picked up the shield and began to walk towards Medusa backwards. He watched her through the reflection of his shield.
Once he was at a somewhat close distance, he saw Medusa look up. She looked lifeless, almost like a statue herself.
"Kill me" she spoke
Perseus stood for a moment before closing his eyes. He pulled his arm back before swinging it with sword in hand with all his might, beheading the gorgon. He heard her head go flying. He took the cloth out of his pouch and hurriedly wrapped Medusa's head. He picked it up and began to walk towards Y/n frozen state. He saw the stones tears on her face.
"I'm sorry", he mumbled before walking away as he did he passed by a camellia bush. The flowers were dead now since the destiny has been fulfilled, but red Lilly spider flowers began to sprout form the ground around the stones girl now that a tragedy has been revealed.
