Y/n's pov

"So there is no treasure here", I asked. "No, there is no treasure on my island", Medusa said. "So why do people come here then, no offense", I asked.

"To slay me", she answered. "Well that's rude", I replied. "Rude", she questioned causing me to fold my arms. "Why would anyone want to kill you, I mean you seem like a nice person, well gorgon", I stated. "I turn people to stone", she stated. "They were trespassing", I added. "Are you going to keep asking questions", she sighed. "Well sorry, it's not everyday you stay on an island with a Gorgon", I replied.

"About that, why aren't you leaving", she asked and I felt her get closer to me. I felt the snakes in her hair nip at the skin on my face.

"I could kill you at any given moment", she hissed. " I don't believe you", I retorted. "Why so",she snapped. "If you wanted to kill, you could've a week ago", I stated. I stood up from the pillar and headed towards the shoreline. "I should get to fishing", I chuckled while grabbing the large stick nearby, I sharpen a large stick I found for fishing. I stood in the water waiting for a fish. I stood in the water waiting for a fish to arrive.

"How are you going to catch fish if you're blind", Medusa asked. "By sensing vibrations", I answered. "When I was younger, I had to teach myself how to see", I added while standing still as possible in the water. "You has no parents", she asked. "I did, but they didn't really care for me, I was just another stranger in my household", I said, I sensed a nearby vibration in front, it was a fish. Once class enough I used all my might brought the sharp end of the stick down into the fish. I raised the stick high in the air and turned to face Medusa.

"Hungry", I asked while stepping out of the water. She didn't answer. "Suit yourself", I sighed and placed the fish on the ground beside me.

"You really don't fear me", she said. "For the last time, no I don't", I sighed. "Everyone fears me, why don't you", she asked. "I don't fear you, cause I have no reason to", I answered. "You didn't attack me, torture me or any other ungodly things", I added.

"That's impossible, humans fear something", Medusa stated. "I did fear something, I use to fear the dark", I replied. "But you told me, when blond all you see is a void, nothingness", she stated. "I went blind when I was 9", I stated while gutting the fish. "I was absolutely terrified of the dark, so you could imagine how terrifying it was when you just wake up seeing darkness", I chuckled.

"How do you wake up blind, you mean to tell me you could see before", Medusa asked. "My father had the habit of getting drunk a lot, he was very violent when he was", I replied. "One day he dranked a bit too much, once he saw me wrinkles formed on his face, he as very angry". I said. "He threw something sharp at my face and it penetrates my left eye", I added.

"What about your right eye", Medusa asked. "He uh, stab it with his finger", I mumbled. "Can we not talk about how I went blind, I'm getting hungry", I said and began to light the fire. "Humans are still cruel creatures", Medusa sighed. "Well ouch", I replied.
