Chapter 3

Y/n's pov

        It's been what 3 months or 4 months, I don't know I lost track. I'm surprised I even survived this long. I have gotten use to the island, surprising behind Medusa's ruins was a whole forest! Filled with pigs and chickens. I wondered how they got here, until I felt another person who was person turned stone, I guess it was a farmer turned to stone. They're wasn't much pigs now, but if I didn't eat majority of them in a week I could let them have little pig babies and when they grow I could eat them.

        Oh by the gods I'm a n evil individual, but who cares I'm tired of fish.

        "Human, what are you thinking about now", Medusa said. "About piggies", I answered as I heard her move to sit next to me. "Piggies", she questioned and I nodded my head. I shot up, but I was still sitting down.

       "Can I touch your hair", I asked. "My hair? Their snakes", she stated and I shuffled my shoulders. "Snakes are nice", I stated. I heard her let out of a huff before she lowered her head towards me. I could tell by the hissing of her snakes get louder. I slowly place my hand into her hair, the snakes wrapped around my fingers some nipping at my hand. I honestly thought it would hurt, but it felt nice, calming?

       Before I knew it she lowered her head on my lap, generally resting her head on my thighs. I calmly played with the wha snakes on her head. After knowing Medusa for so long, I want to know what god would curse her to be like this? She's kind of dude, but once you get to know her she's kind and polite. What did she do to cause her to become a gorgon. Probably a male god cursed her, you know how jealousy men get, even if it's a god.

       "You still think even when playing with my hair", states causing me to smile. "Sorry, I giggled as I felt her slowly lift her head from my lap. Even though I couldn't see I could tell she was close to me.

      I felt her scaly hand touch my cheek as she caressed. Wit light commanding my body I slowly began to lean in. She did too as well since I felt her breathe hit my lips. Before our lips could touch she pulled away.

       "I need to go, I-I think I heard someone", she confessed. Before I could reply she slithered away.

Did we almost just kiss?
