Chapter 5

Y/n's pov

I felt the wet cloth being wiped against my face. Medusa was wiping away the blood from my nose and the scratches from the branches. It was awkward, very awkward between us. "Thanks", I mumbled just loud enough for her to hear. "Why did you panic", she asked. "I just get like that", I answered. "Last time I checked humans don't get like that", She replied. "We'll times have changed ", I snapped causing her to stop wiping my face. "I'm sorry I didn't mean-"You humans have always acted so weak, so egoistical, so obnoxious", Medusa fussed as I heard her slither away causing me to jump up and follow her. "Wait! Medusa I didn't mean to snap at you", I shouted as I ran after her. I stopped when I heard the whip of her tail. I ducked just in time as her tail smashed into a stoned soldier.

      "Don't speak to me as if we're friends", she hissed as I felt her tower over me. I stood my ground as she did, not showing the gear I had swelling in my chest. "Are you going to cry again, go ahead, I know you fear me", she snapped as she got closer to my face. "All humans do", she added as she began to slither away. I wanted to stay silent, but something, a voice risen out of my chest.

      "Well I'm not human then", I stated causing her to stop dead in her tracks. "What did you say", she asked. "I said I'm not human then, if all humans like you said sepsis you, then I shall not be human no more", I answered. I began walking towards her until I was close to her. I leaned my head up to make eye contact with her, even though I can't see I could tell just how tall she really was.

      "I'm not human, because I do not fear you or despise you", I stated. "You have a place in my heart, Medusa", I added. "You can reject me, kill me, eat me, torture me, whatever you see as a evil thing to do to a person or beast", I said. "I will always love you", I said. It was silent for a moment before I felt her scaly yet warm hands grasp my face. "

     "You are the most dangerous thing I have ever met" she said. Before she slammed her lips on to mines.
