"bye moonie" hyunjin says getting out of the passenger seat. "bye" i say when he shuts the door. he goes to walk away but runs back to the car quickly.
"hey moonie?" he says bending down to the drivers window i now have rolled down. "yes?" i ask him, fixing the hat on my head. "call me if you need anything" he continues to lean down and i nod. "thank you jinnie, i'll see you tomorrow."
we wave to each other and when he's inside i pull out of the driveway.
my music plays through the speakers and i hum to the lyrics as i turn both left and right. i decided i wanted to get some coffee after i dropped the boys off so i could get a quick refuel before i went home and did homework till the sunset.
i fix my skirt and the heavy coat over the rest of my body before i walk through the entryway of the cafe. the little bell rings when i enter and a few people turn my way, including the new boy that was there the last time me and the boys had come.
i walk up to the counter and get my usual order and when it's done and made the barista pushes my drink and small croissant towards me.
when i turn back around to go look for a spot to sit down, the mystery boys stares at me. i quickly smile at him and approach the table where he sits.
"can i sit here?" i ask him and he nods, a light grin coming onto his face. i set my food down and pull the chair out. "i'm illiad" i say, extending my hand out to him, a bright smile falling onto my face. "jaemin" he says.
"your names illiad" he continues after a quick second of the both of us not talking. "yes," i nod, "kind of strange but my moms greek and thought to name me after-" he cuts me off. "illiad by homer" he answers me and i nod, a smile on my face. he was the only person that knew why i was named that. "that's cool" he says and i nod. "i'm about to ask you a weird question" i say, not holding anything back. he cocks a brow. "hit me" he says referring to the question.
"okay, this might seem weird but i come here almost everyday after school and i've never seen you here before, well besides the other day, did you just move here?" my straw finds it's way to my mouth and i take a sip of my drink after i finish asking.
"yes," he says, "i found this place a few days after i moved, were you the girl that was with that group of boys last week?" he asks me and i nod. "yeah, those are my best friends, unfortunately" i shake my head and he lets out a soft chuckle. "they're quite loud, they seem fun though."
