(Y/N)'s POV
"I had the weirdest dream last night," I said to Max as I poured waffle mix into the waffle maker. Max had come over to my parents' apartment for morning waffles before we headed to the park.
"Really? What was is about?" He asked, leaning his head on his hands.
"I could fly! I was like flying all over New York, it was crazy!" I exclaimed, shutting the lid of the waffle maker over the mixture.
"That is strange, almost as strange as having to dance battle zombies," Max replied.
I turned to him, "Dance battle zombies?"
"Yeah, I guess some kids from another school tried to crash the anti-prom Alex and Harper organized so we dance battled them. I also got to jump into a punch bowl!" Max exclaimed.
Laughing as I opened the waffle maker I replied, "How are you so fearless all the time, handsome?"
Max shrugged as I set his waffles in front of him, "I don't really know, beautiful. I guess nothing really scares me."
Nodding I sat next to him as I ate my waffles. We ate in comfortable silence, not counting Max trying to take some more waffles off my plate. After we finished eating, I grabbed my cardigan and put on my shoes before leading Max out of the apartment complex. We arrived at the park and just took a walk and talked with one another.
"I do think that a vampire could beat a werewolf," Max said.
"No way! Werewolf beat vampire any day! They have fangs and claws!" I replied.
"Fair point but vampires can outsmart them by turning into a bat!" Max exclaimed.
I shook my head and leaned on his shoulder, "Let's just call it a tie even though I'm right."
Max laughed before kissing my temple, "In your dreams, beautiful."
