(Y/N)'s POV
Max and I were playing Go Fish when we heard noise from downstairs, I think something about Popcorn but we rushed down there as Max shouted, "Popcorn's in town? That doesn't make any sense. Why am I so excited?"
I shrugged, smiling at his excitement as Mr. Russo said, "No Max, PopCon."
"Awesome!" We both exclaimed.
"We should go together and enter the costume contest!" Max said.
"Oh Max, the age limit is 16 or older so you and (Y/N) wouldn't be able to enter, I'm sorry," Harper told us, Max's face dropped
"That's okay! Max we can still go and have a good time all dressed up!" I said trying to cheer him up.
Max nodded, "Yeah that'll be fun."
I slung my arm over his shoulders and walked us back upstairs, "Come on, let's work on our costumes."

I was meeting Max at the convention center PopCon was being held at. He seemed to be a little late so I looked through the comic booths and the cool action figures being sold. "Uh excuse me, have you seen my friend? She's about this high, (hair length) (hair color)-colored hair and an attitude?" I heard Max ask from behind me?
"Boo!" I replied, lifting up my mask.
"Whoa! Cool costume! Love the mask!" Max exclaimed.
"You don't look so bad yourself Chico Loco," I replied, gesturing to his costume.
"Thanks! Check out this giant comic book!" He exclaimed, holding what looked like a tiny comic book.
"Uh Max, that seems a little small for a giant book," I replied.
"No no, it's a comic book made for giants!" Max corrected.
I nodded, "Neat!"
We walked around for a bit, getting photos with others who dressed up when I asked if we could get some kettle corn. Max and I then detoured to the kettle corn and pretzel cart when Max went up to a wizard cutout accusingly, "A-ha! Rogue wizard. Buddy you're coming with me!"
He then proceeded to grab the cutout and walk away with it as I followed, forgetting all thoughts of food. "Uh Max, isn't this stealing?" I asked.
"Not if this guy is a rogue wizard!" Max replied.
I turned to him, "That's a cardboard of a cutout wizard Maxie."
He looked at it, setting it down, "And so it is. He must've gotten away."
I chuckled, "You and your imagination."
We walked around a little longer before we walked past Mr. Russo who was waiting in line for the costume contest. "Chico Loco. I need you told hold this place in line for me," He said to Max.
"Eh...no thanks," Max replied as he and I started to walk away.
"Oh I see. Mom gave you more muscle padding so you think you're stronger than me huh?" Mr. Russo asked, egging Max on.
Max turned to him, "Uh-huh. That's right. More padding, more loco," He hopped over the velvet rope, "Got a problem with that?"
"I do. Let's wrestle and find out," Mr. Russo replied.
Max adjusted his mask, "Bring it!"
They both got into fighting positions as I took a photo of them and they started to wrestle. I was laughing as I took photos of them while simultaneously dodged them from hitting me. They stopped and Max and I soon headed over to the costume contest to watch harper. As we were watching she started to fly using rocket boots. I was shocked I didn't notice Max disappear. Another costumed man in a suit and goblin make-up showed up outside the curtains. Suddenly the curtains were being pulled open and Harper was suspended from some kind of pulley rope system. I started applauding and cheering with the rest of the crowd because she really went all out with her Battle Diva costume.
