(Your Outfit)
(Y/N)'s POV
"When you highlight Max, you don't use a black marker. That makes it disappear," Justin told Max.
"I tried to tell him," I said as I was pulling my books out of my locker.
"Oh my gosh! Ssh, that's Jeanette Brocoletti!" Max exclaimed pointing at our mutual classmate, "Someday I'm going to ask her out."
Justin turned to him as I shut my locker, "Why not now?"
"Well...because, I...I don't know what to say, and...I think I smell like teriyaki," Max replied.
Justin smelled him, "Oh! You do. Did you spill it on yourself?"
"Let's just say this is not the front of my shirt," Max replied.
I gagged as Justin turned to Max, "Ok, look. Let me give you some advice. If you want to talk to Jeanette, all you gotta do is go up to her and make her laugh. Girls love guys who can make 'em laugh."
"Alright, I'll give that a shot," Max replied before turning around, "Wait, are you setting me up for something bad?"
"No, but I should have," Justin replied, "It would've been a great joke. I'm too nice."
Justin and I then watched from his locker as Max laughed hysterically, before Jeanette walked over, he then said, "Oh hey Jeanette! Hey! Bet you wanna know what I'm laughing about?"
Jeanette nodded, "Yeah. We all do. that's why they sent me over here."
"I will tell you, " Max replied, "See that girl over there?"
I turned to Justin, "Oh god he's about to mess up."
"Relax, he's got this," Justin replied.
"Her hair looks like spaghetti in a ponytail. And where does she get her clothes, Forever 1985?" Max replied.
I smacked my forehead as Justin held in his laughter.
"Max, that's my best friend," Jeanette replied.
