(Your Outfit)
(Y/N)'s POV
My parents were out on business so they couldn't make it to Open House but I had to go due to volunteering for the Bake Sale. Sighing I noticed that Max was making his way into the Wood Shop. Curious, I got up to follow him waving a volunteer to take over so I could have a break. Walking into the Wood Shop I saw that he was working on an arrow.
"What are you working on there?" I asked.
Max jumped before turning to me, "Um, Cupid's Arrow?"
I chuckled, "You know Valentine's Day is next month right?"
"I know but it works to get ahead, right?" Max asked, shrugging.
"Right, need any help?" I asked.
"Can you grab me some duct tape, please?"Max asked.
I smiled, "Sure."
Grabbing the duct tape from one of the drawers I handed it to him. I sat around for a while watching him work on the arrow. "Hey are your folks here?" Max asked.
I shook my head, "Nah, something work related came up so they couldn't make it."
"Ouch, sorry," Max replied.
"No biggie, not liked I was doing much just manning the Bake Sale is all," I replied.
"Finished! What do you think?" Max asked.
I nodded, "Looks like a Cupid's Arrow, good job!"
He smiled, "Hey, think you could sneak me a cupcake?"
"Sure, for $2," I replied.
He grabbed his chest dramatically, "You wound me."
"It's a Bake Sale dork, nothing's free," I replied.
"Fine, let me walk back with you to the table," He replied.
We walked back talking about the Open House booths. Once we arrived, he gave me his money and I handed him a cupcake.
"Thanks! I'll see you tomorrow!" He exclaimed, running to Mr. Laritate's classroom.
I chuckled a bit before resuming taking people's money and giving them the baked goods they wanted.
