so after a long talk about my album cover we decide that the cover would look good if it was a picture of me upside down, since the album is titled whirlwind, it looks fitting because i'm upside down.
i had called it whirlwind because it represented what i was going through when i was writing and producing the album, the whirlwind of all my memories being reopened and revisited but also going through the stress that is navigating fame.
"ok now that we've moved on from that, i just wanted to say that since the release of your first music video you've gotten over one million views on it, which is amazing, so congratulations." juliana tells me with a smile and i smile back, "thank you."
"and next, the tour destinations i'm pretty sure we've already discussed where you're going and we agree with all the dates, yes?" juliana says and i nod, "yep, i do have one question though?" i ask, she motions for me to go on.
"during the tour i will be getting breaks, right?" i ask and she nods.
"yeah, so for every city you do, for every one night you perform you get two days off, if you do two shows in the city you get three nights and so on, that's what the vocal coach suggested so that's what we're doing, i didn't want to put pressure your voice since you're still new to constant performing." she mumbles, i nod my head in agreement.
"so the next thing to discuss is who will be accompanying you for the tour, now me and andrew were talking and we thought it would be good for you and shawn to do north america together, and then maybe you can do the rest solo or you can bring someone else?" juliana suggests.
"yeah shawn can do north america with me i guess, as long as he doesn't get in my way." i mutter, pretending to sound annoyed that i have to be in the same room as him, shawn rolls his eyes and nods, "whatever."
"but wait, can i ask a question?"
"sure go ahead" juliana says.
"shawn is much more famous than me, why would he be opening my north america tour? i mean, it doesn't make sense, if anything it would be opening for him." i ask and juliana thinks for a minute, i can see that she hadn't really thought this through.
"well, since there are rumours that you two might be dating, maybe shawn didn't want you to leave and him not be able to see you so he decided to open for you?" she suggets and i nod.
"sure, if you think that will work." i shrug
"can i do the rest of the tour solo though? i want to work on my next album" i ask.
juliana nods, "i wouldn't suggest that because then it would mean you would have to preform more, maybe bring two other people?" she suggests, i nod my head and sigh, who else am i going to bring?
