natalie atkins
brisbane, australia
12:54PMwe were now near the end of the tour, i was so excited to see shawn again, less than two weeks to go before i got to see him, we had plans to go on a vacation with both of our families, like pretty much straight after my tour, all we had left to do was buy the tickets.
shawn was going to pick me up from the airport and take me home, i could barely wait to see him, i am literally counting down the days before it happens.
today was my rest day before the brisbane concert, we had just arrived here from sydney early this morning and i was happy to be here, australia truly looks like one of the best places to live in, it's the perfect mix of city life and beach life, my dream.
"this place is so amazing!" i tell ally, spinning round in the middle of the sidewalk, ally laughs at me, shaking her head.
"you think every place you've been to is amazing." she comments, i huff and as i open mouth to say something, ally interrupts.
"you know i'm right." she says and i shut my mouth, that's true, every single place we've been to i've called it amazing, but that's because it's true!
"hey let's go to that coffee shop." i say, motioning to a small cafe on the corner of the street that looked empty, i take her hand and we walk over.
"good afternoon welcome to ch- oh my god." the waitress says, she begins to smile widely, but quickly places her hand over her mouth, covering her smile. "oh my god! you're natalie atkins! and you're ally marino! i'm a huge fan!" she quips, trying not to be loud.
ally and me smile at her reaction, i loved meeting fans unexpectedly, it was probably my favorite part. "hi! do you want a selfie or an autograph?" i ask her, she nods her head rapidly, her hands shaking as she pulls her phone out.
we take a handful of photos together and she hands me a notepad where i write my autograph now.
after we talked for a little bit she seated us near the back and took our orders.
"you know i could probably see myself moving to australia at some point." ally tells me out of the blue as she puts her coffee cup down and i raise my eyebrow at her.
i shake my head at her comment, "there's no way you would. what leave your dad behind and everything else?" i ask and she nods her head.
"like honestly, probably after i finish working and retire like i could definitely see myself moving here." i nod my head. "like you know after i've had kids and they're grown up."
