Today is the holiday. Valentine's Day, the most wonderf-

"This is so stupid. What's the point of having this day? Ugh!" you groaned and complain first thing in the morning on Valentine's Day. You just woke up and feeling like... Let's say sick from the how icky you think this holiday is.

"Stupid people with there stupid obsession with love. It's gross as f-" you were about to finish your sentence! until you heard a knock on your door. You walked over to the front door, there you saw Peach.

"Good morning ______! And Happy Valentine's Day!" said the princess blissfully on a horrible holiday and first thing in the morning. You already envy Peach's blissfulness.

"Um... Good morning Peach! Uh... H-happy V-valentine's... day!" You tried to match the princess's enthusiasm, but you failed miserably.

"Do you mind if I come in?"
"Of course!" You moved to the side to allow Peach to enter your room.

"It's so neat in here!" exclaim the princess as she took a look around your room.

"Heh heh... Thank you."
"Since it's Valentine's Day today, do you like this holiday?" Peach asked suddenly. But you knew the answer to the question right away.

"No, just thinking about it makes me want to vomit. It's disgusting." you said all that in a straight face with a smile that holds no happiness.

"Oh..." Peach had a surprised. look on her face. "Well, I have something to tell you."

"What is it?" You asked.

"Well there's someone that wants to meet you~"

'Wait, someone wants to meet me? Who though?'

"What do you mean?" you asked, completely forgetting the fact that your hate Valentine's Day.

"Oh he really really wants to meet you, maybe at the garden at 8pm~"

'He? Wait...'

"Well, gotta go! I have a date with Mario! See you later ______!" Peach left your room as you stood there questioning what's going on.

'I can't believe I'm actually here!'

You let out of quietly scream of frustration. If only your curiosity didn't have to take a hold of you.

Here you are in the garden of the mansion waiting for this 'He' Peach mentioned. It might be a prank that Peach wanted to do. Also you're in the cold, at least you have a jacket on and the climate isn't like the North Pole or something.

'There's obviously no one wanting to see me...'

You were about to head back to your room and cry about how lonely you are in real life and in video game life. Not that it matters since there's like a 0.01% of them having a crush on you.

"What are you doing out here?" asked Link.

'What do I say? Do I mention me being a loser and say I'm waiting for someone who's not even real?'

"Um... I just wanted to see the flowers in the garden." you made an excuse, but it didn't turn out well.

"It's Winter ______. There are no flowers." Link laughed at your attempted excuse. Your face heated up in embarrassment.
