"Good morning sweetheart!" I was greeted with a big hug and a kiss on the forehead as I walked into the kitchen.

"Mmm good morning," I kissed him softly. "Your bed is so comfortable."

"It can be our bed, if you'd like." He blushed. "I made you breakfast, when you're done we can get started on compulsion and powers of the mind."

I ate my breakfast and went to take a shower. As the water hit my skin, my mind cleared, the semi hangover ceased, and I was angry. 'How could I have been so stupid. I'm treating this guy like he's my boyfriend, while I'm 200% committed to Jim. Jim is gonna stake me. I'd stake me. God, this isn't okay, I've gotta go home.'

I stepped out of the shower and got dressed. I had to leave, no matter what he said.

"Where are you going?" He stepped in front of the door as I went to leave.

"I've gotta go." I said, making sure not to make eye contact with him. "Listen, this has been fun, but I'm in a relationship with Jim, and I love Jim, only Jim. I'm sorry, but please let me go. Please."

He finally stepped out of my way and I hurried out of the house. The first thing I saw was Jim's car in the driveway. He didn't go to the gym today. This wasn't gonna be good.

"I thought you were never gonna come home!" He greeted me with a hug and a laugh.

I pressed close to him. "Yeah, me either." I whispered before kissing him.

"You okay? You look sick." He worried.

I shook my head. "I'm fine, just really tired."

"Okay, well I'll tell you what, why don't we lay down and watch a movie, just spend the day in bed?" I nodded and he led me to our room.

I changed into a pair of his sweatpants and one of my tank tops and crawled in next to him. He put on my favorite movie, "A League of Their Own" and already had a bag of popcorn made.

"So how was it?" He asked.

"It was okay, I really missed you." I said.

"I missed you too, it's been a while since I've had the bed to myself, kinda lonely." He pulled me close to him and kissed me deeply.

Tears began to swell up in my eyes.

"Babe, are you okay?" He wiped the tears from my face.

"He loves me, Jim. That's the whole reason why we are what we are. It was planned. Damon was suppose to kill you and Stefan would sweep in and take me for his own. Damon just never carried out the plan." The tears rolled down my face. "He kissed me Jim, and I kissed him. I started to feel like I wanted him, but no, it's you. You are my everything. Please forgive me." I was sobbing now.

He pressed me closer to him and gently kissed the top of my head. "Babe, I love you. I'm not mad, not even jealous. You wanna know why?" I nodded. "Because you came home to me, you chose me over him. That's all that matters. You're still here, with me, in my bed."

"I love you so much." I closed my eyes and laid my head on his shoulder.

He gently stroked my back and kissed my head. He was so perfect. Perfect brown hair, perfect brown eyes, perfectly toned body. I loved him, not Stefan. I wouldn't ever make that mistake again.

"Alright now that we've wasted the day stuck up in here, how's about we go over Matt's or something?" He smiled softly at me. "He's having a few friends from work over and asked if we would like to join."

"Alright I guess." I answered quietly. He needed some time with his friends, so there was no way I was going to say no.

I got up and got dressed in a pair of jean shorts and a camisole. We walked outside and as we headed down the driveway, we both looked across the street where we could see Stefan staring out his window at us, watching me. I closed my eyes, and sighed.

"He really likes you, huh?" Jim asked.

I nodded. "Yeah, but I think he's gonna leave us alone from now on.

"Good." He said gently as we started to walk to Matt's house.
