As Professional as Possible

We woke up the next morning and started going through our normal routine, I'd shower while he made breakfast and ate his portion, then he'd shower while I got dressed and ate mine. We finished off our routine by making our lunches and driving to work. Because we taught at the same school, it was really easy to get ready in the morning.

"What is your first period playing today? I think I'm gonna start on football this week." He said as we pulled out of the driveway. All of our classes shared the same gym, so we were always together, but we had to keep it as professional as possible.

"Hmm, maybe we could both do football, instead of having to split the gym...that way we could have my class versus your class for games and stuff too." I answered back.

Being that it was the first week of school, we had to figure out how we were gonna do this.

"Sounds good!" He exclaimed as we pulled into the school's parking lot. He gave me a quick kiss before we got out. "Let's keep it professional." He said with a wink to me as we started walking to the main entrance.

"Alllllrrrrighhhht class!" Jim yelled to get their attention after they were finished changing. "Ms. Roisin and I are going to be combining our classes and teaching the same sports at the same time."

"That way we can have games against each other, Mr. Rodriguez's class versus mine." I finished the explanation. "First we are going to start with football." I told the combined classes.

A kid raised his hand. "So we are basically one class with two teachers?"

Jim answered. "Technically yes." He looked at me and smirked causing me to blush and a few of the students to stare and whisper.

"Go get changed, you have ten minutes before we start taking roll. Don't be late." I ordered.

I looked at Jim. He looked so perfect standing there holding his roll book, looking over the names of his students.

"Babe," he said. "Are we ever gonna, you know, tell them that we are like engaged?"

"I don't know..." I said smirking. "Are you ever gonna, you know, like propose to me?"

He laughed softly and pulled me towards him, kissing me softly, and forgetting that we were standing in the middle of the gym where, in a few seconds, both of our classes would be standing.

"Oooh." A few girls said as they walked out of the locker room, and to accompany them a few boys walking out of their locker room fist pumped and said "Get it!"

I blushed and backed away from him.

"Stay professional." I mouthed and winked at him.
