About Us

Hi everyone! This is your Author, Roisin Dubh, and I just wanted to take a moment to explain many things. My favorite type of creature in the entire world are vampires, and therefore I like to write as if I am one. I'm sorry if most of the story thus far has not been very descriptive, as I have been imagining this entire story for about four years now. Well here are a lot of the descriptions I feel are missing for you guys...

Bios:

James Rodriguez: A young (28 yr old) high school teacher. Has brown hair and brown eyes, is very muscular, and enjoys any type of sport. He can have a jealous side, but does it out of the love of his girl Kate.

Kate Roisin: A young (25 yr old) high school teacher. Has black hair and brown eyes, and is very pretty and athletic. She met Jim as a freshman in high school when he was a senior and they have been together ever since. They now work at the same school and both teach physical education. She may screw up sometimes, but she really loves him and will do anything to be with him.

Damon: At 128 years old, this eternal stud will make your heart stop. Literally. He is a cold blooded ripper, who knows how to control his hunger. He and his younger brother Stefan have had mutual love hate relationship their entire after life. Over what, you ask? Well keep reading to find out.

Stefan: The gentler of the two Salvatore boys, Stefan at the age of 126 feels he has finally found the love of his life, but will eventually accept that she isn't really for him and become friends with the two newly turned love birds. But don't worry, he will find love eventually, just like every good vegetarian vamp should!

Now that the bios are over I will introduce you to some of the vampire vocabulary and concepts that go along with this book.

Vegetarian Vamp: A vamp who does not normally drink from a human vein. Face it, we all do some times.

Power: The powers we possess

Dark Power: Power that is misused for dark purposes

Compulsion: Mind control where the vampire looks into the eyes of who they are compelling and either speaks their command or sends a mind message their way.

Mind Messages: Voice Mail of the brain. Vamps have a unique power where they can send brain waves to each other from anywhere. It is their main form of communication.

There are more and I will let you know as they come along, but these are only ones I could currently think of.

Now for some things I need to clear up.

We vamps have heightened emotions, which makes it hard to control our feelings toward one another.

We are able to walk in the sun only because of a ring we wear that contains the stone known as lapis. Although it is not said, Damon slipped a ring on each of the main characters' right hands after he turned them. Sorry for that confusion,

We do not sparkle.

Vervain hurts. Bad.

Keep wooden stakes away from our chests/backs.
