The Hylian Shapeshifter (OOT Link x reader)

Part 1: Chapter 2

7 Years

You woke up from a goodnight sleep. "Can't I stay here..it's so comfortable.."

Slowly standing up from bed, you look in the mirror to fix your hair. You were no longer 10 years old. You're 17. Turns out you weren't Kokiri after all.

"That was such a nice dream.." You mumbled to yourself. Heading outside, you lived in Kakariko village. Ever since that day, people from castle town moved here to get away from evil.

You walked everywhere to do your daily things. Buying groceries, helping the people around you.

There were three women in front of the well in the village. "Hear us! For we will tell the tale of this land!" That caught your ear. Slowly approaching them, they started saying:

"Long ago, the land was created by the three magical goddesses! They gave life to all green, all blue and all red! Their power formed a strong essence called the 'Triforce'. As the world was born, word spread all around. They couldn't protect it so..they spilt the Triforce in three. Landing in whomever fit the best."

You heard.

"There was a goddess that stood higher than all hylians. Goddess Hylia! By her side was the legendary hero! Standing against the majesty of evil, Demise! As our goddess sealed him away, she knew she couldn't hold the Triforce to protect it..so she gave the power of reincarnation to both her and the hero."

The woman dressed in green stood up. "The first who were reincarnation lived in the sky. Not knowing they had a great fate waiting for them, the goddess reincarnated was stolen for her power. My hero went for her as a best friend since children. A part of the Triforce had gone to him, the Triforce of Courage."

The woman dressed in blue was next. "As she was powerless, she soon realized what she was destined. She was surrounded by evil, soon to make a sacrifice for the hero. The part of the Triforce that went to her was the Triforce of Wisdom."

The woman in red was last. "The one who broke out of the seal was back. Ready to torment our hero and goddess. Knowing his plan failed, he placed a curse. For him to be reincarnated next to them. To haunt them forever! The last piece of the Triforce was given to the King of Evil! The Triforce of Power!"

They bowed down to anyone who heard them. "Interesting.." You hurried back home since that took a really good while. Leaving your door open, someone stood outside. "You have questions, don't you?" She said.

Turning around, you were surprised. "Impa! Well..yes..but I mean, they're just tales, right?"

"Maybe, but who knows. So many are magical here, there is a good chance those tales aren't fake." She said. Since you moved here, you didn't have a home so Impa took you in. You told her about your shapeshifting which by the way, it hasn't come back yet. She's tried to help you get them back.

To pay back, you helped her village in anything.

Feeding the cuccos outside, someone new was entering the village. Simple green tunic, golden hair, eyes as sharp as a knife, sword and shield and with such a strong walk.

Impa walked up to him. "You have definitely grown! How do you feel? Were those 7 years long for you?" She asked him. You passed by them to get out of village and throw away the waste.
