The Hylian Shapeshifter (OOT Link x reader)

Part 2: Chapter 7

Ambiance

"All shapeshifters are different. We're all mixed. Some can shape-shift into solid object, not just living beings. Other can shape-shift into elements, noises. They can mix in with them. Your parents excelled at their abilities. Your father was a solid shapeshifter. Your mother was an element one. That's why they both did so well in making everyone believe they were dead and to trick that boy into making him evil. You're a shapeshifter of both." Cecillo made you sit down. "And what're you?" You asked.

"A shapeshifter of elements and noises." She had an instrument that made a calm, long sound.

"You have to focus, (Y/N). Blend with the sound.." She said. You closed your eyes but you began to hear those same voices you heard a month ago. "Keep focusing..!"

"Wait- Shape-shift into the noise?" You stopped. "No. Shapeshifter isn't just about transforming, remember your senses."

You focused this time as you stayed quiet and suddenly fell asleep.

"Your mind needs to be awake, but your body needs to be at rest. Let's try something else."

She took you to a nearby creek. "You can merge with the water.."

You stepped into the creek and focused only on the water. Your body suddenly turned into water and fell into the creek, your speed was so much faster. Transforming back into human, you were also skating on the water.

"This is so cool!" You said as Cecillo smiled. A thought came on your head. Looking at Cecillo.

"Is it alright if I can ask you something?" You got out of the creek. "Sure."

"Adofo. What is he?"

"This ocean is not a regular one. It was once a healing spot for the only ones who live nearby..until the beast took over. There are guardians all over the ocean for the sake of its protection, Adofo is one of them. All of them did fought against the beast to defend the ocean but they were too weak. They hope..you can save it."

"Me? But how? I just learned how to magically skate on water, I can't fight." You responded, looking down. "Yes, but-" The ground shook. "There it goes again!!"

You ran back to where Link was. The beast had awoken for some reason. "(Y/N)! I don't know what happened!" Link turned.

The beast turned out to be one of those you had poisoned you a month ago, but this one was huge. Cecillo ran to your side. "You can do this, (Y/N)!"

She pushed you to the water as you started tippy toeing across the ocean. You began hearing the voices again but didn't back down this time. "Let me save you!"

You were making the water rise around the beast so it wouldn't go anywhere, until it broke through the water, throwing you into the ocean. Adofo got scared and ducked. The beast was ready to punch everyone out. Link used the Master sword's light to cut through its arms. As it was about to punch again, you went back on and transformed your arms into water chains to hold back the beast.

You started to skate around the beast to create a barrier. Once you finished, you raised your arms. The ocean's color was changing. Adofo gasped.

"Yes, (Y/N)!! You're amazing!" Link shouted.

Dropping pressure onto the beast, you destroyed it, creating beautiful sparkles all around. Going back on land, Link ran to your aid. "That was..terrifying!" You laughed. Link laughed with you. "I know! But you did it!" He shouted as he hugged and carried you around.

Cecillo screamed. All of you got alarmed and see someone taking her. That person was covered in poison. "No!" You shouted.

Adofo and Link ran to get her. Link jumped on Adofo and landed on top of the person, cutting them in-half with the Master Sword.

The ocean went back to normal and all of its guardians were safe and happy. They placed you on their waters to heal and the worked!

They made a celebration and a huge feast for everyone. All of the villages across the ocean came over. You hear the joy in them as they play music.

Sitting down and eating under a tree, a little far from the crowd, Link joined in. You placed your plate down and leaned on his shoulder.

12 Years Ago.

"What are you doing here late at night?" Link asked. "I'm looking up at the stars." You responded. Young Link sat down next to you. "I read that stars indicate the people of the past..I wonder if my parents are there.." You wondered and frowned. "There's so many stars, (Y/N)! They could be any of them..!"

You nodded. "Anyways, I brought snacks!!" Link smiled. "Really?! Hand some over!"
