Part 3: Chapter 15

A link to the past

"Use everything you just learned! You can do it, (Y/N)." Link shouted.

"I will protect you!" You smiled. "You better!!" Duvessa laughed and smiled along with you.

She was using her magic to blast the beast. Meanwhile, you and Link were trying to slice the beast's ankles so it could fall and Duvessa can deliver the final blow. All that hope was for naught when the beast blasting Duvessa in return. It was much stronger than her. You summoned your power to distract the monster.

Adofo came for help. Both you and him shape-shifted your arms to wrap them around the beast's arms in order to stop it from harming Duvessa.

The beast was suddenly vanishing as Duvessa started screaming. "Get it out!!"

The Master sword was shining bright, so Link hurried to her. Other parts of the beats grabbed you and Adofo.

"You..aren't strong enough..!!" Duvessa grunted. With her magic, she aimed it at you. "What are you doing?!" Adofo was in distress. Link was held back.

"I know about your dream, (Y/N). Let me help you!!" The magic flew past you, but it got to your sword. "Huh?"

"You are the only one to fix this, (Y/N)!"

"What?! I don't know how!"

The beast had turned into human form, stabbing Duvessa's heart from behind. "No!!" You shouted. Adofo and Link didn't know what to do.

You and the sword were glowing, changing your whole environment.

"Link!" You couldn't see him anywhere.

"(Y/N)!!"

Like the beasts from before, the voices wouldn't leave you. With the magic you didn't know much of yet, you unconsciously turned into something else. It wasn't shape-shifting.

Link woke up. Adofo was next to him.

He stood up quickly, looking around him. Duvessa was gone, no beast either. Most importantly, you weren't there.

"Where..? (Y/N)!"

Adofo opened his eyes. "Where are we?"

"I'm not sure.." Both of them looked around to see a civilization. All the people looked happy. "These people are all..shapeshifters.." Adofo looked broken just seeing them all, knowing they all ended up divided and dead.

"Hey fellow Hylian!" A lady passed by Link. "We're in the past."

"Before the war happened, but how? And where's (Y/N)?"

"(Y/N)'s sword mixed with either her power or Duvessa's..it is made out of Timeshift stones. Which is the same material that the Ocarina of Time was made out of.." Link spoke. "The Ocarina of Time..?"

He nodded, taking out the instrument. "Based on whatever melody, lullaby you play, the ocarina has power for that song to completely work. For example, if it's dark outside, I can play the Sun's song and within a second, the sun is coming out." He said.

"That doesn't bother people?" Adofo asked. "I don't know, but it has benefited me." Link responded and sighed. "We have to find (Y/N), quick. Before that, Duvessa said she is the only who could fix 'this'."

"Where do we look first though? You know her a lot more than I do, so you're the only hope." Adofo was confused about everything.

Link and Adofo ran out of there. "If we're in the past and we're still the same, that means (Y/N) must stay the same, as well." He stated. Adofo agreed. "Right, plus neither you or her were born yet."

As they were running, they both blinked at the same time to see corpses around them and once they blinked again, they were gone. They stopped. "Did you see that?"

Link had a sudden idea.

"Ohoh! The Hero of Time is here? You were supposed to go 7 years to the past, not 19! Eldin was joking "We were sent here, actually. We need your help! My friend, her name is (Y/N)! She was sent here with us but she's gone and we don't really know where to search.." Link pleaded.

"Did you blink and see a different place from where you were?" Eldin asked. Both Link and Adofo nodded. "Only she was supposed to be sent here, but her power exceeds Duvessa's so she brought you two." Eldin floated around them. "Right now, I can't sense her very well because she did something. What you saw is her power mixing with the sword, causing to change time for a short while." He turned to Link.

"She brought Adofo for him to be safe, but you..she wants you, Link. You can help her if anything." Eldin disappeared.

Walking in Hyrule Field.

"(Y/N) was raised in Kokiri forest, alongside with me. We should start there." Link suggested.

You were at the civilization. As a kid, though.

"(Y/N)! Dinner is ready!" She called you. You ran back into the house you lived in. Looking up to her, Duvessa smiled. "You're all dirty! Where were you?" She asked. "I was just outside playing!" You pouted.

"Well..clean up. Your sister's about to leave." She mentioned. "Sure.."

Your..sister?

Once you finished eating, there was a girl next to Duvessa. "I love you two..but Cecillo has things to do. You won't see each other for a while, so say your goodbyes now."

The girl hugged you. "Bye-bye little sister. I'll see you!" Her eyes were white.

Her and Duvessa left. You shape-shifted back into your actual age. "Cecillo's my sister..?"

You followed to where they were going. Crossing Zora's domain, this is where you and Link went. A village. A tower and you see Duvessa enter with Cecillo.

"I will fix you, Cecillo." She told her. "Why do I need fixing? I can train myself to sense things around me.." You could tell she was scared.

The tower began shaking. "We're being under attack!!" Someone shouted. You couldn't touch anything around you.

"Mama!" Cecillo reached for her mom. Duvessa looked away and left. "Please don't leave me! I can be better!"

The tower collapsed. Duvessa killed everyone in the village. "I'm sorry. You are nowhere near perfect."

You ran back to the civilization, shape-shifting back to a child. Duvessa had a child before you, but left her behind. You felt immense guilt.

Time started fast forwarding itself. You see a Hylian in front of Duvessa who had a baby in her hands.

"What will we name her?"

"(Y/N)."
