I've stayed up all night trying to figure out who's note this was. I try sprinkling done powder on the note and finding fingerprints. But to no avail. I only find my own prints. Mr. X must've worn gloves or something.
Clever. But I'm even more clever.
As I'm about to type something onto my laptop, I hear a creak from the door. I instantly stuff my laptop and supplies underneath my pillow.
I see Harry pop up. Thank God. I thought it was an assassin.
"Ello love. Haven't slept yet?" He asks sitting down on the edge of the bed.
"Oh no. Just jet lag is all. I'll be fine." I say reassuring him.
"Well I haven't been able to sleep. Mind if I can hang out with you?" He asks with pleading green eyes.
"Well I'm not sure." I say.
"Please. We could just take a walk. All the other boys are still awake." He pleads.
"Only for a little bit then I better get some rest." I say.
"Yes! Lets go." He says grabbing my hand and pulling me out the door. I grab my coat before we go out.
"So where would you like to go?" Harry asks.
"Whatever you want Mr. Styles." I say.
"Call me Harry." He says flirtatiously. "Lets go walk near Big Ben." He says.
"Alright. Lets go." I say walking towards the direction.
"How do you know the way?" He asks.
"Well I've also been here in London before." I answer.
"You know Jennifer. I'm glad I have an assistant. We could do so many fun things. Like friends." Harry says smiling.
"Well I'm only here for work actually." I say trying to get that idea out of his head.
"No way. All work and no play is the worst." He says.
"I can handle it." I reply.
Harry drops his phone and ducks down to grab it. An arrow is shot right over his curly head and gets stuck in a tree.
I start to look around to find where that came from.
"Got it." Harry says holding his phone.
I "accidentally" drop his phone again.
"Sorry Harry." I say.
"No problem babe." He says kneeling down.
Babe? I go to the arrow in the tree and pull off the piece of paper stuck on it before he gets back up.
"Alright shall we go?" He asks.
"Um, I think we should go back." I say worried that next time the arrow will go through his head.
"C'mon. Only for 10 minutes." He whines.
"Fine." I sigh.
"Great. C'mon." He says leading me towards Big Ben. "So Jennifer, what's your favorite song from our new album?"
"Well, um, I haven't ever listened to your music." I say.
He stops dead in his tracks. "You haven't?" He says really astonished.
"Um, no I haven't." I say.
"Well you'll need to listen to it." He says taking his phone and headphones out.
"That's alright-" I start.
"No here." He puts the headphones in my ears and I can here some music.
'Oh, I just wanna take you anywhere that you'd like. We could go out and day any night. Baby I'll take you there, take you there. Baby I'll take you there.'
"This is me." He say smiling.
'Oh tell me how turn your love on. You could get anything that you want. Baby just shout it out, shout it out. Baby just shout it out, yeah.'
The song wasn't half bad. But my work isn't to listen to him sing. It's to make sure he doesn't die.
"That was really good. I liked it." I say taking the headphones out of my ears.
"You don't want to listen to the others?" He says.
"No thank you. But I did like them." I say.
Suddenly I'm pulled into a bush. I take whoever's hand was on my mouth and twist it around their back.
"What was that for?!" Harry loud whispers.
"Well what was that for?!" I yell back.
"The paparazzi." He says.
"Oh my bad." I say putting his arm down.
"Wow. You're really strong." He says trying to stretch out his hand.
We just sit there for a few minutes but I stay on guard. Mr. X could be anywhere.
Anywhere.
