Jin spent all day being completely distracted. He couldn't focus on the article he was writing or the articles he had to review from his section. Namjoon was on Jin's mind, he really did seem so hurt when he saw them last night. Jin didn't mean to hurt him, he didn't mean to hurt anyone, he was just drunk. That wasn't even a good excuse though.
And then there was that other thought in his mind, why would Namjoon look hurt? And also why is he feeling guilty? It was weird, so weird. It was like they had...like a thing for each other.
"Hyung!" He heard, snapping him out of his thoughts. It was Jimin walking in merrily with some sort of lunch boxes in hand.
"Ah, Jimin-ah." Jin smiled fondly, trying to completely snap out of his thoughts. "What brings you to my office?"
"Okay Mr. Editor, didn't know I needed to be all formal in here." The younger man teased, pulling up a chair on the side of Jin's desk. "Why don't you thank me for bringing you a plate of lunch and a company gingerbread house?" He said cheekily.
Jin chuckled at that, patting Jimin on the head. He did need some food now, especially since he was barely getting any work done. Jimin always knew how to comfort him, he was like a mini Moni.
"What's all this though?" The ravenette queried, as he picked up the gingerbread house and walked over to his mini fridge.
"According to Ms. Song from HR, the company decided to switch it up a bit and get us catered lunch and gingerbread houses for a pre Christmas event." He explained, getting handed a beer can by his hyung, though he couldn't help but notice that Jin didn't grab one.
"That's sweet." Jin remarked while taking a bite from his plate of food. "And the food's not half bad too!" He chirped, shoveling some more into his mouth. Jimin just watched as his hyung ate quicker than usual, he also seemed a little...a little chopped and tired looking. "So how are you Jiminie? Your big day is coming up already."
Jimin sighed, a huge smile plastering itself on his face. "Work has been so hectic with all those Christmas special shoots. You know models in Santa bikinis and shirtless men in Santa shorts." He laughed.
"And about the wedding....I'm excited, so excited! And nervous! But also excited!" He exclaimed, taking an enthusiastic sip from the beer. "I can't wait to be declared husband and husband with my Hobi."
"Are you also excited by any chance?" Jin teased, making Jimin give him a cute death glare. "I can't wait to see you two on your big day too. We're gonna fuck that party up!" He snickered, pushing Jin's beer down as someone passed by his office. Yeah that beer had been sneakily stashed in his mini fridge, they weren't allowed at work.
"Oh, like you haven't openly drank beer in your office." The shorter male called out, taking a big gulp this time. He was tempted to ask about why Jin hadn't taken a beer, so he did! "Hey why aren't you drinking with me? Let's celebrate a little! Christmas is only a little more than a week away~"
Jin huffed, instead opting to take a sip of his warm chamomile tea. His headaches were gone for the most part, but he was super sleepy and distracted. Gosh, he needed to stop getting drunk. In all honesty he was embarrassed of himself.
"I fucked up last night...." the ravenette admitted, leaning back in his chair. "So basically, I got back home, opened a beer and then Kim Jisoo came in crying about a rejection - it was a bad one." He stressed, making Jimin worry, those types of stories always ended in one thing....
