"My first love?" Jin repeated after having gone speechless for a while.
Yoongi nodded, still looking at his hyung very expectantly. Even Namjoon who had been under Jin's arm as he was comforted, looked up expectantly although he looked at tad bit uncomfortable now. Jin just scratched the back of his head sheepishly as if he was trying to dig an answer out of his head.
"I don't know, I don't really think I ever had one." The ravenette answered honestly. "Haven't ever thought of it that much-"
But just as Jin was going to finish answering the waitress came with their orders . They were simple orders, a small bowl of japchae, hoeddeok, and ddukbokki. The three men couldn't fill up so quickly because they were going to meet everyone else for dinner. After having given everyone their food and drinks the waitress was ready to leave until Yoongi popped up with a request.
"Is the outdoor dining on the roof open?" He asked rather brazenly. The waitress was taken aback but for the sake of customer service she still answered politely.
"Technically it is, but it's below freezing outside." She replied, still in shock. Jin and Namjoon were shaking their heads at Yoongi in disapproval but they didn't outright object.
"That's alright we have our jackets." The shortest man responded cheerily. At this point Jin and Namjoon were very embarrassed but again, they did not completely reject the idea. After all this was their holiday vacation so maybe it was a good idea to get a little unhinged...
About an hour later and they were seated on the roof top dining area with their food and drinks almost half done. The waitress was even nice enough to set up a portable heater outside for them. So here they were talking and eating while watching the night crowd of this small town. They ordered quite a few beers too.
Yoongi was on his 4th while Namjoon and Jin were on their 3rd. The pair of best were a little tipsy but Yoongi seemed to be full on drunk, it seemed that he was drinking something else or had drunken before they left to eat. Either way Jin and Namjoon were sure enough to stay at least a little sober.
"Ah hyungie." Yoongi called out as he ate the last bit of his hoeddeok. The shorter man never used 'hyungie' but in his drunken state it was a must.
"Yes Yoongi-chi." Jin responded tiredly. Truth be told he was a little tipsy but not too much, just enough to make him drowsy.
"Ya never fully answered m'question. S'get to it!" Yoongi practically barked, making Jin flinch the tiniest bit.
There was a moment of silence and tipsy Jinnie collected his thoughts and words. After a bit he actually began to speak, his beer bottle swishing back and forth.
"Okay so it's like this..." The ravenette began. "I can remember my first time falling in love, feeling butterflies and like...like thinking to myself 'it wouldn't be bad to spend the rest of m'life with this person." He rambled. "I thought to myself 'mhh i really care about this person' but since it was the first guy I was ever in a relationship with things were still new and we broke up." He sighed, resting his elbow on his knee and his chin on his palm as he looked to the street.
The two younger males listened intently, Yoongi more invested than Namjoon seemed to be. Namjoon was sitting right beside Jin but he looked off into the distance too, trying to look anywhere but him. He really did look like he felt uncomfortable at the telling of this story.
