"Don't eat all the cannolis okay? Or else something really bad will happen~" Jin warned cutely as he leaned into the car window. It was already pretty late, 12 to be exact and both of them had work tomorrow except that Jin would be sleeping at the townhouse with his sister.
"I won't, but only because your lending me your car." Namjoon smiled, the ignition already on. "If you want I can pick you up tomorrow and then we can drop by your house so you can change." He suggested, only making the eldest grin.
"How kind of you. Looks like some of my charm and good manners rubbed off on you." Jin teased, wiggling his brows.
"Well I have to return your car and yesterday when I picked you up from work you told me that I would have to drive you to work today, but since all of this crazy jumble happened there was no work for either of us." The brunette explained, fiddling with the steering wheel shyly.
Jin smiled, reaching his hand into the car to squish Namjoon cheeks teasingly. He just loved seeing his friend all flustered like that especially with how today had gone.
"Goodnight Joonie~" The ravenette cooed, giving Namjoon's cheeks another squish. "I'll see you tomorrow. Thank you very very much."
"Night hyung." Namjoon said back.
But even after they had said good night to each other they still lingered there for a second just kind of staring at each other. It wasn't awkward per say but definitely a little strange, almost like the two of them wanted to say something. No words came out though, not from Jin, not from Namjoon. It was a quiet night despite all the hectic adventures of today, or yesterday I guess you could say?
"Try not to be late." Jin said sweetly to which Namjoon nodded. "Bye." And he backed away from the window.
"Bye hubby, I'll be on time." Namjoon teased starting to drive away. The ravenette just smiled as he watched his younger friend drive off in his car. He hadn't even noticed that Eunhua was standing my the door watching their little encounter.
"Didn't want to say bye to your boo?" She asked teasingly but Jin just rolled his eyes, the smile on his face slightly dropping
"He's my best friend, stop saying those things." The ravenette scoffed, walking back into the house. "It's like a bro can't just have a bro."
"Oh so do you have a boyfriend?" Eunhua pried which made Jin do a double take and become increasingly flustered. "Jinnie, I see how you two look at each other, it's just full of love."
"You're just imagining things." Jin deflected, serving himself some coffee.
He's just a friend. My best friend.
"No I'm not. Like even back in college and high school your eyes were all sparkly for each other but now..." Eunhua began, "now...now it's full on hearts." And again, Jin became even more flustered, his cheeks starting to heat up.
"You don't ever think of getting a partner Jinnie? It's just that I'm always worrying about you, alone here in Seoul." She admitted, actual worry settling on her face.
"But I'm not alone noona." Jin defended. "I have Namjoon...and my friends. And now I have you, Heejin too." He chuckled nervously but his sister didn't seem to buy it.
