"Happy birthday, Jin!" Everyone cheered.

The apartment was no longer dark and the ceiling was almost unrecognizable because of the balloons. Jin covered his cold burned face when he saw Jungkook out with his camera, but Jisoo and Eunhua walked over to him and took away his hands. They posed with a very shy Seokjin who looked absolutely adorable.

Since he wasn't planning on doing anything for his birthday Jin had decided to treat himself to slightly curling his hair and wearing his favorite sweater. He looked absolutely adorable, definitely not like he was 31. He should have guessed there was something going on when Namjoon didn't even send him a happy birthday text. Speaking of Namjoon where is he?

"And Namjoon?" Jin asked, his eyes all sparkly.

Everyone started booing and jeering after Jin except Jisoo who was wacking him on the back encouragingly.

"We get it, you only have eyes for him!" Taehyung complained, pouting exaggeratedly.

Jin laughed going over to comfort his younger friend when suddenly he got blasted in the face with confetti. He felt two hands on his waist and then suddenly he was turned around facing Namjoon. Jin couldn't help but smile as he hugged his best friend. He didn't even care that his whole friend group started 'aw-ing' obnoxiously loud.

"Happy Birthday, Seokjin." Namjoon smiled, still holding Jin by the waist. "I actually had to go to our hometown to get your gift." He said, placing a parcel in Jin's hands. Of course, Jin instantly tried to open it but Namjoon stopped him. "Not yet."

Jin shot him a menacing glare that was much more cuter than menacing, to which Namjoon responded with his own glare. Those two were really in their own word - it was grossly cute.

"Okay you two break it up or else no one will be able to eat." Yoongi interrupted the moment, handing the two men a bottle of beer.

They all walked to the living room where the boxes of pizza were splayed out on the coffee table. There was also an ice cream cake splat in the middle so obviously they were going to eat it first. That was Jin's favorite part about his birthday, eating ice cream cake while the house was warm and the weather outside was freezing. He actually felt kind of touched that his friends had remembered.

"Okay bitch, I want you to pose cutely." Jungkook reminded, making Jin glare at him playfully.

Jimin moved forward to light the '31 bitches' candle he had custom ordered for Jin. All of them sat down and Jin kneeled right in front
of the cake, first striking a fierce pose then a cute one. Everyone urged for him to blow out the candles since it was warm in the room. Jin closed his eyes, thinking for a second before blowing the candle out. Everyone cheered, no confetti this time.

"To Jin-hyung!" Yoongi cheered, lifting his beer.

"To Jin-hyung!" Everyone else repeated and they started digging in.

Jin felt the food to have been exceptionally good this year maybe it was because he was celebrating it with so many people he loved?
They talked and joked and even pulled out embarrassing photos of Jin, but he didn't mind. No, he wasn't going to get drunk because then he couldn't savor the moments, but having a drink or two was permitted.
