Giggles could be heard from the closet inside Jin's apartment. It was where he kept all the winter blankets and winter items, but it was pretty roomy. There was even a small light coming out of it, but it wasn't coming from a phone. What was happening inside that closet you might ask? Well, there were two grown men, one newly turned 30 and one already a veteran at being 30 giggling their drunk asses off.

They were sitting crossed legged on the floor of the closet, with a cake in the middle. It had 2 candles on it, one was 3 one was 0 and they were both lit. The two men were still in their work clothes so that meant itchy dress shirts and dress pants, but their ties were long gone. They looked like fools, beer cans in front of them and birthday cake with lit candles in between them.

"Make a wiiiisssh, Namjoonie~" Jin giggled drunkenly as he adjusted the candles.

"I wish that I could have a stupid hot and smart girlfriend - or boyfriend. Any of the two because I'm 30 already and I don't have a single hoe down." Namjoon pouted also completely drunk.

It was Namjoon's birthday today but he always had the luck of his birthday falling on a week day. All day had been filled with calls and texts from his 6 friends and many colleagues, but everyone was busy with work so it's not like they could actually celebrate. Namjoon didn't mind though because Jin had kidnapped him so they could do a mini celebration in his apartment. In addition to this mini celebration they were all going out on Saturday.

"Shhhh~" Jin giggled again, placing a finger over Namjoon's plump lips. "If you say it out loud then it won't come true~"

"Oh my god! It's not gonna happen now?!" Namjoon exclaimed, grabbing his head. "Nooo~"

"Don't worry, bro!" Jin reassured, carefully scooting over to Namjoon's side. "The candles still aren't out so - hiccup - so you can still make a wiiisssh!"

The brunette nodded, his eyes all puppy like. He closed his eyes, thinking very hard, but he felt Jin blow into his ear.

"I'm soooorrry." Jin apologized.

So Namjoon went back to concentrating, he felt Jin lean his head on his shoulders. What could he wish for since his previous wish was invalid now? If he could have anything in the world what would it be? He was reaching the big three-o, this wish couldn't just be a small thing, it had to be special.

He slightly opened his eyes, but he was met with almost complete darkness. The candles were still on, but they were melting. Then, he felt Jin adjusting his head again, wrapping himself around one of his arms. Namjoon smiled, even though he knew Jin couldn't see it. His hyung. The one who had been there through thick and thin and now he was here giving his closet so Namjoon could have a birthday cake on his real birthday.

Namjoon closed his eyes again. He thought a little bit more about how to word his wish then he leaned forward, Jin moving along with him, and blew out the candles. They were in darkness again, but the brunette could hear Jin start clapping and giggling again. Namjoon's smile became wider.

In the darkness he could feel Jin lifting his head up and kneeling beside him. Namjoon didn't question it, he just sat on the floor while he hoped that the cake wouldn't get ruined. Jin kneeled by his side and scooted closer, then he felt around for Namjoon's face. Once he had the younger man's cheeks in his hand he cupped them and brought him closer.

"Happy birthday, Mon-ah." Jin whispered, almost like the closet and blankets would come crashing down if he spoke any louder.

After he said those words he pecked Namjoon's cheek, letting it linger for a bit before hugging him close. Namjoon nuzzled into the fabric of Jin's polo, feeling the man's heart beat. It was steady, a little bit raised but most likely from the alcohol. It felt like home. It was his home.
