Namjoon's leg bounced up and down furiously as the bullet train came to another red light. Why couldn't this thing go any faster? He had places to be, people - no, soulmates - to find. The brunette's mind was really racing all over the place, all the gears were turning and turning. The old lady sitting next to him even seemed to notice.
"Are you okay, young man?" She asked, placing a hand on Namjoon's arm. Namjoon instantly snapped out of his thoughts and he put on a polite smile.
"Uh, I'm fine, just anxious to see a friend." He responded, taking a sip of his water. It was literally the only thing he had aside from his wallet, phone and charger. He didn't even know what he was doing when he had purchased the ticket to board the train.
"Oh how sweet. A childhood friend?" The old lady asked again. Namjoon heaved a shaky sigh, letting himself actually relax into his seat.
"My best friend, since high school. He actually took off unexpectedly from Seoul to go visit our hometown just today." He shared with the woman. She chuckled knowingly, also leaning back in her chair.
"Young people - so impulsive." She tsked jokingly. Namjoon chuckled along, this was actually what he needed, a distraction from his hyung making him go bashit crazy.
He couldn't help but feel that Jin still thought he was mad at him, when that was far from the truth. Namjoon genuinely forgave Jin for that mistake he made, because it was nothing but a kiss, besides Jin was seldom ever attracted to women. And also, the ravenette had genuinely seemed sorry about it, so of course Namjoon forgave him.
For now, all he could do to calm himself down and stop worrying, was talk to this sweet old lady and hope that this bullet train started going even faster.

"I'm too old for this." Hoseok's grandmother grumbled, laying down her remaining cards.
Jin took one glance and snorted, laying down his own. There were murmurs from the other parents and a groan from both of Hoseok's grandparents. The ravenette smiled a smug smile and took the plate of cookies from Hoseok's grandmother.
"Well that's about all I can handle." Said Yoongi's mother as she got up to grab her coat. "It's been fun people but this middle aged woman is already tired, and so is my husband." She sneered, pointing at her husband sleeping while sitting up on the couch. Everyone laughed, waking the man up in confusion.
"I'm afraid we need to get going too, you know that we don't see too well on the road anymore." Hoseok's grandpa told, reaching over to grab his jacket. "It was a fun one Seok-ah. You really have learned your way with the cards." He complimented, patting the youngest in the room on the back. "Have a safe trip back, son. Tell Hoba and Jimin-ah that we miss and love them."
Jin nodded, hugging the old man firmly then he moved on to hug Hoseok's grandma. In all honesty he was getting a little emotional, maybe because it was the holidays and all and tonight had felt really nice being in family. But there was always a next time, besides he had to come back with Namjoon and the others to gift give.
"I'll tell them, and I'll also tell Yoongi the same too, Mr. and Mrs. Min." Jin assured, moving on to hug them both.
After saying goodbye and happy holidays to the Jung and Min family, Jin was left alone with Namjoon's parents. Jin looked at the time for the first time in a while and realized that it was already 9:30pm - it was pretty late. He knew he had to get back but saying goodbye to the other Kim family was just so hard for him, he also didn't want to get back onto that snowy road.
"Sweetheart, all you had was sweets and a glass of wine, you must be hungry from that trip."Areum said as she made her way to the kitchen. Daesoo was packing away the decks of cards and clearing off the table, so he wasn't paying much mind.
