"Okay bitches! So here's the plan."
Jimin's voice resounded through the ballroom as the group of his 5 friends stood in front of him (plus his fiancé who stood at his side). He had quite the commanding presence, he was practically glowing despite how tired he must've been.
The group was, of course, at the venue where they would practice the ceremony. Tomorrow was the wedding and the group was getting pretty restless. After all that time the big day was finally here, they only hoped everything would go well. Which is why today they had to finish up all the final details and practice.
"Hyung, are you doing good? You look like hell." Yoongi chuckled as he patted Jin on the back.
The ravenette was indeed looking a bit befuddled. It took him a lot of convincing and a lot of getting ahead on his work to get his superiors permission for the next few days off. It took about a week of all nighters, but Namjoon had been quite the help, bringing him warm meals and keeping him company at work. What more could a man ask for?
Every time Namjoon would come over Jin couldn't help but feel the slightest bit guilty. Namjoon always did so much for him, he was always patient, how could he ever repay him?
"Hyung, I think you should sit down." Yoongi said after receiving no response from his hyung. That immediately snapped Jin out of his thoughts. Right, Yoongi was speaking to him.
"I just need a long nap." Jin snorted, causing his you her friend to look at him worried.
"You can take a nap before the rehearsal dinner, right now we gotta heed to captain Chim's instructions." He smiled, walking Jin toward the box of decorations. For some reason Yoongi seemed different, giddy almost.
Even in his dazed state Jin knew something was up. He was feeling crappy but he still had enough energy to tease his friend.
"Why are you so giddy? You're freaking me out." The taller man teased, nudging Yoongi in the side. Yoongi was awful at hiding his feelings, he immediately began laughing nervously.
"Whaaat? You're imaging things, maybe you need a whole days rest." Said Yoongi as he tried to avoid his hyung's questioning. But it seemed like that would be impossible as Namjoon came right over and began walking along side them. Effectively he was squished between Jin and Namjoon.
"What's up Yoongi-chi, you look like something good happened and you're about to tell hyung about it." He said exchanging a mischievous look with Jin, whose cheeks tinted the slightest shade of pink.
"You're so nosy." Yoongi muttered, feeling cornered. The two men at his sides gave a triumphant laugh. "It's hyung to you first off! But anyway, I may have a plus one."
At that his two friends went wide eyed. Jin stopped right in his tracks, taking Yoongi by the shoulders. His eyes sparkled at this new found information. His little Yoongi-chi finally had a date.
"Awe, Yoongi-chi! Who is it who is it?????? You have to tell me? When will we start with the wedding preparations?" The ravenette questioned at lightning speed. Yoongi was definitely feeling overwhelmed. He should've just kept his mouth shut.
Namjoon just stood on the side laughing at his hyung's student burst of energy. But he was curious about Yoongi's plus one too, although he did have an idea of who it could be.
"It's just a colleague..." the shorter man responded, refusing to look his hyung in the eye. He knew that if he met his gaze he'd just blurt everything out.
"A colleague....?" Jin repeated, his hand coming up to his chin in a pensive stance. Who could this colleague be?
"It wouldn't happen to be a certain famous pop star whose name starts with a J and ends with an O, right?" Namjoon piped up, that mischievous smile still dancing on his lips. At that Yoongi's own eyes went wide. How had he figured it out so soon???
