Jin entered his apartment in silence. It was dark and lonely because one person hadn't returned with him. He had reminded Namjoon once more that he loved him, to what degree though? Jin really had no idea, maybe that's why he felt so awful right now.

And then...Namjoon hadn't said it back. He looked at a loss for words, Jin could see it, but there was no telling why. The ravenette had never felt his heart ache like this before, it felt like he was suffocating. He needed to take a bath...

So that's what Jin did, he went to take a warm bath. The water helped him sort out his thoughts, and so did the silence and so did the aroma. Sometimes it was good to be alone, to be away from everything, to be away from the source of his confusion - Namjoon. Jin loved him, he loved him a lot, but every time they were together he was just confused.

Maybe that was okay, it would be strange not to be confused about his feelings. That was enough thinking for tonight though, Jin needed a good sleep too.

Knock. Knock. Knock. Knock.

"Hold up!" Jin yelled from the hallways as he dried his hair. "Who is it?" He questioned, inching his hand toward the bat he had by the door. It was late, and he wasn't expecting anyone so Jin was very tempted to bring out that bat.

"The ghost of Christmas present~" A muffled voice joked from the other end of the door.

Oh.

"You can just say it's you, Yoongi-chi." Jin sighed as he opened the door to let his friend come in.

The smaller man was looking very adorable with his mittens, thick scarf, puffy cheeks, and puffy jacket. He looked like a little dumpling.

"Oh wow, do you have some sort of appointment." Yoongi teased, placing the box of sweets he had on Jin's coffee table.

"No, I'm too old and tired for that." The ravenette snorted, walking over to the kitchen so he could make two hot chocolates. "Besides why have you decided to grace my presence?" He smiled, genuinely enjoying the company.

The blonde chuckled, as he undid his layers and went over to turn on the lights. It was like a haunted house in here.

"If you're old looking like that, then maybe I need to reevaluate my life choices. But anyways, I brought you some Krispy Creme doughnuts to get into the Christmas spirit." The shorter man chuckled, as he grabbed his mug of hot chocolate. "All these lovey dovey couples around Christmas are driving me crazy." He complained, kicking his socked feet on the coffee table.

Jin snorted, mirroring his friend's actions as he grabbed a doughnut. Christmas and New Year's we're like pre-Valentine's day for everyone around really. Many of the editorials he reviewed over the holiday were mostly relationship advice for the holidays, "10 things to get your partner for Christmas", "how to set the mood during the holidays", dumb things like that.

"Yeah, I get what you mean. Y'know we should have a Christmas romcom night, all seven of us." Jin suggested excitedly, as he munched down on his glazed doughnut. "Make fun of the cheesy story line, eat sweets, feel a little jealous - those of us that are single." He snickered.

Yoongi snorted, shaking his head in disbelief. "Sounds fun, but I think I'm the only one single in this friend group." Jin rolled his eyes at that. He wasn't with Namjoon, never had been, wasn't sure if he wanted to be, but his friends had firmly decided that they should be together.
