Kim Jisoo, 25 years old, height of 5' 4", hometown of Sangbon-dong South Korea. Her solo debut was originally set for November 12 2019 of this year but it was pushed back to February 15th of 2020. After her group disbanded she went into the acting industry, playing few roles, but they were very memorable. All in all her career seemed to be doing good but there was no telling what her solo singing career could bring.
Jin was going through his notes again as he waited for the elevator at basement level. Yep, he was a lucky one, this piece he had to do was interviewing the one and only girl group sweetheart, Kim Jisoo. She was very pretty that was true, but Jin thought she kind of looked like him and that kind of freaked him out. There were never any allegations about her behaving rudely on set so that would be good for her image.
YG Entertainment had taken a request from The Seoul Times to accept an interview, which was actually surprisingly. Under new management, they actually seemed to be playing their cards right because this magazine was meant as more of an advertisement than anything. It was meant to soften the public more so her career wouldn't flop, but something in Jin just assumed that she'd be fine.
The elevator opened and he entered alone, but someone followed behind him. He didn't really pay much attention because he didn't want to fuck up and give Kim Jisoo a bad impression.
"Excuse me?" A young lady asked. "Do you know where the modern media floor is? I'm looking for someone's office."
"I'm actually going up there myself." Jin answered, still not looking up from his notes. "Who's office are you looking for?"
"Kim Seokjin." The girl said.
Jin finally looked up, surprised to hear his own name. Oh, well he was being a bit rude wasn't he? In front of him was none other than the Kim Jisoo. She was in a raincoat, alone, without her agent, which was a bit peculiar.
"I'm so sorry." Jin instantly apologized, feeling his cheeks heat up. "I was just maki-"
"It's okay, you have a busy day ahead of you, so I'm probably taking time from you." Jisoo said in understanding.
"Uh, no I mean I'm Kim Seokjin. I'm head correspondent and I'll be interviewing you today." He said. "I was just reviewing a bit of information, you know, guidelines and such." Oh my god, why am I being so awkward?"
He extended his hand and Jisoo took it, offering a smile. Oh she was very nice. She opened her mouth to speak again, but the elevator stopped at the first floor and tons of people started to flood in. The two were just pushed to the back so they weren't too comfortable exchanging words. Luckily the elevator traffic calmed down once they got to the 10 floor and they were able to get to Jin's office soon.
"So, Miss Kim Jisoo I hope you're just as excited as I am for this pre-interview the day of your life." Jin commented, entering his office and turning on the coffee machine. "Can I offer you anything to drink?"
"Just some chamomile tea is fine." She said sitting comfortably in the chair.
"Any aim for this interview?" He asked. "What do you want to come across as? Your manager explained to me that this article is more of an image boost than anything else, like an ad for your debut." Jin said, sitting down in his desk.
"Well, yes, but I think I want to focus on the celebrity lifestyle version of me first and then we can move onto the regular stuff." Jisoo suggested as Jin jotted down.
"That sounds great. In the first edition we'll follow one of your red carpet stories and a day on set then we can focus on your regular life in the continuation." Jin smiled. "Sorry if I'm being rude but you are getting a surprising amount of freedom for this." He commented, handing Jisoo the hot tea.
