Toph's POV
Im blind. So why did I think it was a good Idea to make him a card?
I had Aang help me by holding a paper to my back a drawing a heart. I had drawn what i felt, and I already know that it looks terrible. I was going to give it to him after Aang wrote a little note i asked him to, but i was stopped.
"you have to add color!" he threw his hands up. I furrowed my eye brows, "And how do i do that?" i asked, "Do i need to remind you that i am blind?" i waved my hand in front of my eyes.
"i know!" he whined, "But you could try! Here! I have to go meet up with Katara to give her the bracelet i made her! I know it will look great!" he handed me a box filled with markers. I heard him leave and groaned.
I opened the box, "Aang says that hearts are red." I poured out the markers in front of me. "how in the heck am i supposed to know witch is red!" i complained.
Out of frustration, i grabbed a random marker and opened it, dragging it across the paper, knowing that the color is out of the lines. When done i put the markers away and asked my siri to call Sokka.
"Hey melon lord!" He answered. "hey! Im ready when you are!" we were going the park to extange our valintines day presents. "ok! Be there soon!" he called, and with that he hung up. I picked up the card and soon i heard a knock at the door.
I walked over, and knew it was Sokka. "hey!" i smiled. "hey! Ready for the park?" he asked. "yup lets go."
Soon we were off . We were at the park and sat down on a bench. ( idk wat my deal is with these 2 nd benches but oh well-)
He then spoke first, "here! Let me give you mine first!" he said. He pulled something out of his pocket, "here! Its a volcano rock bracelet! I know how much you like rocks." He chuckled.
He then placed it around my wrist, and i smiled, "Thanks snoozles!" it was my turn. i then handed him the card, "sorry, Aang was helping me but ditched me when i was about to color." I said.
i heard him smirk, "What color did you want it to be?" he asked. "red."
"its blue." he chuckled. "sorry." i apologized.
"its fine, i like it."
