Sokkas Pov
Sokka let out a bored sigh as he back flopped onto his bed, " I'm so bored!" he complained. He laid there for a little before walking through the jack and jill bathroom he shared with Katara. He poked his head through the entrance of her room, "hey sis, what are you doing today?" he asked.
Katara was brushing her hair, getting ready for who knows what, "Toph, Suki, and I are going out for a little, and Aang is volunteering at the animal shelter." she said, putting her hair up.
He groaned a little before walking back to his room. He laid on his bed and picked up his phone and went to his text. He then started to text Zuko, hoping to get out of this bored state.
Sokka: Hey
Edgelord: what do you want?
Sokka : ouch
Sokka: wanna come over for s lil? Everyone else is busy and im booooreddddd
Edgelord: you started Voltron yet?
Sokka:no y??
Edgelord: brt
Sokka:??
Just then the doorbell rang and Sokka walked to the door to see Zuko in an oversized hoodie, sweatpants, his hair a mess, looking as if he just rolled out of bed. Sokka raised an eyebrow, "are you even alive right now?" he asked.
"It's saturday, i'm never alive on saturdays." he pointed out walking into the house. He then shut the door himself and grabbed Sokka's wrist. He then draggedhim into his room. Zuko then grabbed the remote and sat on the bed with Sokka. He then turned on Netflix and started Voltron.
"Is this a good show?" Sokka asked, looking over at his friend. Zuko nodded, "trust me, there is a character that is basically you in here."
"Pfft, no there isn't." Sokka chuckled, but as soon as the second episode started Sokka was laying on his stomach and Zuko was still sitting. "Ok, there is no way Lance is anything like me." He spat out.
"Oh really?" Zuko asked, " the constant sarcasm and anger that he has reminds you nothing of yourself?"
"Hey! IM sokka the sarcastic meat dude." he pointed at himself with his thumb, " and that was just sarcasm and anger. Plus Keith reminds me a lot of you."
Zuko gave him a death glare, " shut up." He mumbled. Sokka chuckled and nudged Zuko a bit, "so, how are you and Mai doing?" He asked, rolling onto his back, still looking at his friend.
Zuko shrugged, "fine I guess, last week I took her to my uncle's tea shop." Sokka smield, "yup, there is nothing like winning girls over with tea." he joked. "Well, speaking of my uncle." Zuko started to fidget with his fingers, "I'm thinking of moving in with him." he said. That caused Sokka to sit up,"woah,ok what happened with your dad?" He asked the older boy.
"He has hated me all sixteen years of my life. He only cares about my sister." Zuko pointed out.
"Wait, he only cares for one?" Sokka asked, scooting a bit closer to his friend. Zuko sighed, "well, adopting Toph was my mother's idea." he mumbled, "she loves our uncle, I bet she would come with us. Plus he is only a street down, it's not that far." He pointed out.
Sokka nodded, understanding. Let's just say that the whole group had some parent issues. Zuko's mom is missing, but claimed dead, and his dad only cared for his younger sister, Azula. Toph's parents were millionaires but thought they wouldn't be safe enough to protect the blind girl, so they gave her to Ursa and Ozai.
