Severus and Lucius

S I X

Severus woke up feeling happiness he had never felt before. He didn't want to get up, but he knew he had to. He just lied there for a couple more minutes enjoying the warmth and comfort of his new bed. He decided he should get up now. 

He slowly moved the covers off him. He was trying not to wake Lucius up. He got up out of bed and headed to the bathroom to get ready for his first day back at work. When he got back to their room he saw Lucius sitting on their bed. 

"Oh, what are you doing," Severus said a bit shocked that he was awake. "You didn't have to get up, it's still very early," 

"Yes well, I wanted to be up to say goodbye," Lucius said as he got up and kissed Severus. 

Severus thought that this would never get old. He enjoyed the company of Lucius and he really didn't want to go back to Hogwarts. 

Lucius had made Severus breakfast again then Severus went on his way back to Hogwarts for his first day back with teaching. He was in a much better mood than he normally was. He was starting to feel happy again. 

He was walking down the corridor. Severus could feel the unhappy and confused glances being thrown his way. After all, he had never taken a sick day before. He was sure everyone enjoyed taking potions from Remus more than him, but Remus could never teach potions properly he would honestly probably get someone killed. 

He walked into his classroom. He had missed it, no ever suspects this but Severus enjoyed teaching very much. 

Once he reached the front of the classroom Hermione's arm shot up in the air. 

"Yes, Miss Granger," Severus said not as mean as he would normally sound. 

Everyone else in the room seemed to notice that to because they all had a confused look on their faces. 

"Well, umm, I just wanted to know if you're doing alright, sir. You've never missed a day of teaching before," Hermione said nervously waiting for Severus to yell at her or take house points away. 

"No need to worry Miss Granger, I am perfectly fine. I just wasn't feeling well." Severus said perfectly calm. 

All of the 6th years looked around at each other. Severus had never been nice to his students before. Hermione was confused the most, she had been expecting him to at least takeaway house points. 

The rest of the lesson continued the same way. Severus even started calling on Hermione to answer questions. 

"Now who can tell me what Amortentia is and how to make it?" Severus said.

No one knew the answer except, of course, Hermione. Her hand was high up in the air. 

"Yes, Miss Granger," Severus said. 

"Amortenia is the strongest love potion to exist. To make it you need Ashwinder eggs, rose thorns, Refined Peppermint Oil, and Moonstone." Hermione finished.

Severus was shocked that she already knew all of this off the top of her head. 

"Yes, that is correct." Severus said with a slight smile on his face. "2 points to Gryffindor." 

The whole class stared in shock. Hermione had a huge smile on her face. Ron ran over and gave Hermione a huge hug. 

"That's enough, back to your seats everyone," Severus yelled over the noise. 

At the end of the lesson, he didn't even assign any homework. If the students weren't worried before they sure are now. 

While leaving the school, Severus was talking to Remus about where he was the other day. 

"I wasn't feeling well." Severus lied 

"I can tell you weren't sick no one gets sick for one day then just feels better the next," Remus said a worried look across his face. 

"I was sick." 

"If something wrong you can tell me." 

Severs knew this would continue until he admitted where he was. 

"There is nothing wrong I was just busy." 

"Busy doing what." 

"I can't tell you." 

Severus was sure that Remus would push him until he said what he was doing. 

"Come on you can tell me anything," Remus said very. 

"Fine, I was moving into my new house," Severus said, he was too tired to avoid Remus for any longer.

"Really? I didn't know you wanted a house." 

"My boyfriend convinced me," Severus said, as casually as possible considering he just came out. 

Remus was shocked, he never believed that was possible.

"Wow, congratulations." 

"Thank you. Now I'm going home if you don't mind." 

"Of course, I'm sorry for putting you in that uncomfortable position I really wasn't expecting that." 

"It's alright, but you better not tell anyone about this." 

Severus turned around and walked away before Remus could say anything else. 

I'm so sorry these short chapters take so long but I haven't really been in the mood to write for a while. Anyways, lots happened in this chapter and I hope you enjoy it. 

Also, I love snape being nice to his students I CANT.
