What just happened? (Completed)

Chapter 2. They captivated me.

Louis' POV 

Don't ask me how I was able to save her, because I have no idea myself. 

Everything happened so quick that I wasn't able to understand it myself. 

But I'm glad I did it, I'm glad that I was able to save her. 

When her mother came out of the room to say that she was awake, I felt my heart happy and finally calm. 

I stayed her for the three days that she has been in the hospital. Now I know her name. 

Kaia. 

Funny how her name means "ocean" and she almost got killed by it. 

I've been talking to Kaia's father John, for the past hour. He is very grateful with me because I saved her little girl. 

He told me how they just lost Kaia's little brother Finn. 

I tried talking to I guess was Kaia's older brother, but he ignored me. 

I don't know if it was because he was worried or what but he didn't seem like he wanted to talk to anyone. 

Later on when Kaia's mom Ashley, came out from the room, she looked like she was crying and was angry. 

"John lets go." She said. 

John looks at me and said "Please, come soon to our house. It would mean a lot to us to make you dinner. It's the least we can do to repay you." 

"You don't own me anything sir. I wouldn't have let her died or anyone for that matter." 

"Still it would mean a lot if you came." He said. "Here is my phone. Text me whenever you need help yourself, okay?" 

I nodded and saw that Ashely didn't look at me once. 

Kind of like the brother. 

"John seriously. Let's go. Now." Ashley demand and John nodded looking back at me one last time and they both went out of the hospital. 

Should I go inside the room? 

I mean, Kaia is with his brother. Maybe I should wait. 

Kaia's POV 

"I think that maybe mr Romeo wants to see you sis." Aiden said as he separated from the hug. 

I didn't want it to end. 

"Do you know who he is?" I asks. Now remember that someone did save me from my death. 

"I have no idea. I think his name is Louis though but I've never seen him before." 

I saw Aiden beginning to open the door and went outside. 

Why would he safe me? 

Was all I could think of. 

Not minutes passed by when the door opened again. 

I saw a guy, a very cute guy, must I add, coming through the door. 

"Can I come in?" He asks. I guess he is Louis. 

I nodded and he entered consciously, closing the door behind him. 

"Can I sit down?" I nodded again. Finding it very cute that he asks for everything. I guess it is the right thing to do, since I don't know him and he doesn't really know me. 

"Thank you-" 

"How are you-" 

We said at the same time. I could feel the awkwardness sinking in and we both laugh a bit. 

"Sorry sorry, go ahead." He said. 

I smile at him and look into his blue-green-ish eyes. "I just wanted to say thank you." 

"For what?" He asks. Is he serious? 

"I mean... for saving my life probably?" I asks and said at the same time. 

He smiles at me and shook his head. "It's okay really." 

"How is it okay? You saved from dying. The doctor said it is a miracle that I'm alive." 

"I wouldn't have let you die in the ocean when I knew I could save you somehow. Or at least tried." He said. I know he isn't been modest. Don't ask me how I know, I just feel it. 

"But really, I'm thankful." I said again. "How can I repay you?" 

"You don't have to repay me. You don't own me anything really." He said. "I'm just glad you are okay." 

I smile at him, not believing that there was someone as good as him in this world. 

"I saw how you were when you catch that wave. You could've of saved yourself." 

"I wish I could remember that." I said. "I don't really remember anything from that moment and it's been a while since I've been on the ocean." 

The awkwardness was fading away, making it easy to make conversations with him. 

"Well you were great. For how long have you been surfing?" 

"Since I was like 4 years old. My dad put me in surf camp and I felt completely in love with it." I said, remembering those simpler days. 

Finn wasn't even born yet. 

"That sound like fun." He said. 

"It was." I admitted. "Do you have any passion like mine?" 

"I love to sing." He said and I look at him surprised. For some reason I wasn't expecting that. "I sometimes sing with my friends." 

"Really?" 

"Yeah. They actually saw me rescue you and tried to stop me." 

"Well of course they would. It was dangerous." 

"But it would've of hurt me more if I didn't do anything and just let you die." 

I smile at him and couldn't help myself from looking to his eyes. 

They captivated me. 

He's so sweet and looks like such a good person. 

I've only read of these things happening in the books. 

Never had I imagined that it would happen to me.
