At the opening, blood dripped from cang'he while his clothes were ripped and tattered after leaving yet another of Miao Luo's many torture chambers.

Dong Hua had not slept since the day he held Feng Jiu in his arms. However, he was mentally drained, having forced Feng Jiu to the back of his mind, his body remained focussed on wielding his sword in the hopes of getting to the people Miao Luo had taken before Feng Jiu could find out.

Miao Luo bargained with him to allow him the freedom to go through her large kingdom.

He'd spent over a day combing through her maze of chambers but was bound inside a time spell he had no idea she was able to conjure.

The spell slowed-down time substantially, causing days to pass within the magic boundaries, whereas in reality, only minutes passed in their realm.

He had no idea how she procured the familiar magic but could sense outsiders' essence within the spell and decided he would remain and continue forward.

Two weeks passed in this spell, where he battled demons and beast alike without rest or food. His high amount of cultivation supported his lack of food and typical sustenance.

He had found everyone missing, but learned of another that was trapped weeks before the others. A young woman he had recognised as Feng Jiu's general and friend, Ai Mi, was found in a substantially altered state of consciousness after the beatings she endured from the savaged brutality and malnutrition she suffered.

Dong Hua bandaged the wounded and had the young woman covered and carried towards the exit with the others.

Rows of beasts huddled at the exit of the spell waiting for them to leave.

The fear amongst the Qing Qiu people soared, becoming a fragrance to the beasts who fed on their fear and anxiety.

The beasts had no time to respond or run towards Qing Qiu people because Dong Hua had appeared in front of the creatures, surprising them all.

Cang'he swiftly struck the air, causing a piercing ring to reverberate around them, and with one strike in front of him, he struck at the necks of those standing closest to them.

Dong Hua then swiped the opposite way, doing the same thing. A clean-cut to each of their jugulars, killing them immediately.

Dong Hua placed a sleeping spell over a child as he did not want him to witness any more brutality. He planned to remove the experience from the child's mind as soon as he could.

The people of Qing Qiu watched the most spectacular, awe-inspiring and yet frightful sight. The Almighty Dong Hua Dijun was indeed in his element; his facial expressions remained stoic, and there was not even a flinch or strain of his lip.

"He's insane." Zhou Yi, a farmer who lived closest to Feng Jiu, yelped while screwing up his face at the blood flying around.

"Zhou Yi, stop watching and help me get Ai Mi cleaned up, Dijun ordered us to get her ready and prepare everyone to be transported." Xiang Wu, a merchant of fabrics, urged.

"Why? We will die here anyway."

"Zhou Yi! Would you shut up and help me?" Xiang Wu shouted.
