The electricity I could feel caused my ears to burn while I felt butterflies taking shape in my stomach. I remember this feeling.

Anticipation.

I had never been brazen before; of course, I was as bold as ever in my dreams. But at this moment, I felt like a different person and yet myself. As wrong as I knew this was, it felt so right, and I had no intentions of stopping.

As that fateful stone came to memory, the bane of my existence, I was more determined to have Dong Hua, even if that rock said otherwise.

I felt him trying to pull back, even though his hands found their way to my hips. Every movement of his body against me made my skin feel hot.

On to my tiptoes, I gently pushed my lips onto his and took my time pecking around the edges of his mouth until I finally felt his lips pucker up to move. As soon as I felt his lips moving, I slid my hands up from his wrist and wrapped my arms around his neck while I felt his hands locking behind me.

Smiling, I playfully nibbled on his bottom lip and tugged on it, hoping for him to let my tongue explore the caverns of his mouth.

Finally, as his mouth opened, our tongues met and danced elegantly together. At first, being my first time kissing anyone before, outside of dreams and my time as Consort Chen, I was a little shy, but the more we kissed and the more our tongues grazed each other, I couldn't help but feel as though this had happened before.

Dong Hua was a great kisser; he wasn't rushed but instead took his time, making my knees buckle expectantly.

I felt the same electric current surge between us. It was hard to know if Dong Hua felt anything, having noticed no reaction from him.

"Jiu'er, we can't." He mumbled into my mouth, but I bit his lips softly again to keep him from talking. I released one tail and let it sway behind me, instantly having the effect I wanted, as I heard a groan come from Dong Hua while he twisted my dress into his fingers.

"I'm on heat. My scent will only get heavier. Someone else will come."

Why did I say that? Why the hell did I say that? Not only was I not being myself, but I was spouting nonsense. Unbelievable.

But I swore I heard him say it.

'Nobody can have what's mine.'

"What did you...?" He smothered my lips once more, and this time he tugged and nibbled on my lip with his teeth. His tongue hungrily searched out for mine while he pulled me into himself so roughly that all the wind within me faltered.

His hands gripped my shoulders as if trying to keep me in place. I could sense his hesitation. But I couldn't stop. No, I didn't want to stop.

Releasing my tails slowly so as not to rouse him, I allowed the fox magic to surround us, a thick pink fluorescence wrapping his body while the scent he was fighting to yield to had made its way to his nose.

"STOP!" He yelled, gripping my arms tightly while grunting.

I looked into his eyes and wondered how I could stop. I loved him. My body responded to his touch as though I was the string, and he, the musician.
