"You said you favoured Ancient History?" Dong Hua asked

"Yes - that's true."

"The Great War?" He questioned

"Yes, The Great War was an act of genocide. It annihilated Clans and destroyed many Kingdoms and its lands." Feng Jiu answered waiting for him to tell her something she didn't know

Dong Hua started speaking in a soft monotone voice. "After the great war, we were in a time of peace that lasted over six hundred thousand years. The wreckage caused by that war took thousands of years to recover from, many clans worked hard to rebuild their kingdoms and restore what was lost." Dong Hua conjured a tea set and waved his hand to open the window to let in a breeze.

"When Shao Wan started to expand her lands, she became forceful by taking from neighbouring kingdoms. She couldn't touch Qing Qiu because of the fox barriers, so she spread out towards other parts of the Realm. The Ghost Lands, Snake Lands, The Scorpion kingdom and many others."

"Snake lands?" Feng Jiu asked, leaning her chin into her closed fist.

"Yes, they had a large kingdom, but after the demon war, just like many clans, their lands were overrun and destroyed, so the few left, live scattered through our realm."

"That's terrible." Feng Jiu knew that so many people had died, but knowing that, to this day, many people were still foreigners in other Clans' lands saddened her.

"Shao Wan was a proud woman who refused authority or direction because she never liked feeling influenced. She refused to get help when she needed it and took what didn't belong to her because she could. Shao Wan, however, loved her people and strove to give them everything. When she tried to force Qing Cang to move, he challenged her. The distraction allowed him to send a small part of his army to storm through the Demon lands to kill as many of her people as they could. When Shao Wan returned to find her kingdom in flames and many of her people dead, she was distraught. She met with Heavenly Father, Mo Yuan and I, pleading for help, but because of the people and clans she had also killed in her mission to expand the demon lands, there were too many politics involved preventing us from being able to help."

"So she opened the "Pandora box" because she wanted revenge?" Feng Jiu started to catch on, but still, why was it not written? It didn't seem a good enough reason to hide.

"Pandora box? Yes - Your description suits its nature. Shao Wan didn't realise the damage she was about to release until it was too late."

"What was released?" Feng Jiu asked

Observing her, Dong Hua thought about how he would inform her. He had never spoken of it as he would typically show the person parts of his memories. But to lead her that way could damage her spirit.

He decided he would talk her through the ordeal.

"Before the great war, there were Four Kingdoms that existed in our realm. As you know, The Heavenly Father reigned over the Heavens, Huojin ruled over the Dark lands, Bai Gui over the lands and.."

"And You over the seas." Feng Jiu grinned, causing a warm smile to spread across his face.

"Mmm, and I over the seas. Huojin was constantly rebelling against Heaven; at times it would spill into Bai Gui's lands and the seas. It was during a war when an Ancient Mortal Empire arrived in our Realm, the first and only mortals to have come into the Immortal Realm.
