Cheng Yu came to visit Feng Jiu, telling her the gossip that Si Ming and Lian Song had filled her in on, stories that sounded more and more like her Gugu's Mortal trial.

Abductions of women occurred throughout their realm with their memories erased and their immortal essence sealed.

Somebody left them scattered in the Mortal realm. Not just one Mortal realm either, but dispersed throughout different domains, making it difficult to find them and even harder to ascertain who could be the cause of it. 

"Whoever they are....." Cheng Yu started "It looks to be the same people who took the Princess of the Horse tribe.....they sent her back badly beaten, with spider bites all over her body and almost dead."

"WHAT? Why would someone do that?" Feng Jiu replied

"I think the stiff neck celestials have an idea, but what's worse, Not only did they seal her memories and immortal essence, but they had their way with her, so she had returned confused and abused."

Feng Jiu covered her mouth from the shock and shook her head.

"There's another thing I should tell you Feng Jiu, the purpose of my trip actually" Cheng Yu hoped Dong Hua would never find out she told Feng Jiu.

"What? What is it?"

"The Horse Clan took Chiwu. The spider bites the Princess received seemed to have come from the ones under his care."

"Cheng Yu! Why didn't you start with that? we both know Xiao Yan's not capable of such things, he may be a brute, but he is gentle at heart" She stood preparing to leave "What's Haode doing about this, and how the hell did he get taken so easily?"

"Feng Jiu, that's why I'm here, they can't do anything, The Demon King has refused any help, but I've heard she's also not doing anything about it."

Feng Jiu turned to face her and waved her hands menacingly. "That's because she's probably the one that started it all and threw Xiao Yan out" Feng Jiu became angry for her friend and afraid for his safety "How long has it been since they took him?" Feng Jiu asked

"I think about five or so days" Cheng Yu replied with a bit of regret in her voice "But I only found out this morning."

"If they won't do anything for Xiao Yan, to hell with them. He would never leave me to fend for myself" Feng Jiu said, walking towards her chambers.

"So we're going to get him?" Cheng Yu asked with a smile on her face

"Yes! Now, I hope you bought your dagger?"

With a broad smile on her face, Cheng Yu replied."Of course, I did, but I guess a change of clothes would be appropriate."

When they arrived in the Horse Clans kingdom, they were confused to see little to no protection at the gates and an even emptier city centre as a quiet market came in to view.

Walking around, they noticed the stalls were all empty.

"Feng Jiu, this is my first time here, so I'm not sure, but is it normally like this?"

"No, even at night, it is lively, but...... it's barely the afternoon, and I haven't seen anybody but the few guards at the gate" Feng Jiu was concerned for Yan Chiwu's safety as she wasn't sure if he'd even still be there "Let's keep walking, I don't want to miss him if he's still here."
