She was expecting to feel cramps throughout her body; however, the only uncomfortable feeling she had came from her shoulder, which had somewhat healed, although still tender to the touch.
Sitting up, she saw her Gugu laying next to her. They were not at the fox den; she was in her bed-chambers.

Feng Jiu tucked Bai Qian into her bed "I'm sorry for worrying you Gugu" She gave her a quick peck on the head and climbed out of bed to make her way to Yan Chiwu.

"Xiao Jiu, your up" A voice from the back of her home called out.

Stretching, she spread her arms out wide and turned to walk towards the voice while brushing her fingers through her hair and straightened out her sleeping robe. She chucked her hair up in a quick bun and reached the sitting area only to find six pair of eyes looking at her, while one particular pair of eyes had her spend a little too long admiring.

He too stared back but was surprised by her choice of clothes or lack thereof. She summoned her robe and unhurriedly put it on while taking a seat. Red flushed her cheeks. 'Dammit, why do woman blush so much' she thought to herself.

"Xiao Jiu, will you not go and change, we have guests?" Bai Yi asked dissatisfied as he walked towards her while forced coughing and shuffling were making sounds behind him.

"There is no need father, this is my home, and you have all been waiting long enough." She tried to say it respectfully, not wanting to anger at her father in front of others. Being scolded like that was demeaning since she was a Queen and they were in her home. However, being filial, she would not openly confront her father.

Looking at the men in front of her, she began her greetings. "Greetings father, Grandfather, Zhe Yan, Dijun, High God Mo Yuan and Uncle Ye Hua. I assume you have all come because of Xiao Yan."

"Feng Jiu, before we start, how are you feeling?" Ye Hua asked with a genuine smile.

"I am well Uncle, surprisingly actually." She looked at her hands, "I wasn't expecting to feel so well, although, my shoulders still a bit sore, I'm not feeling too bad at all." Zhe Yan and Bai Zhi both smiled towards Dong Hua.

"That's good. Your Gugu has been with you these last few days..."

"Few days? How long have I been sleeping for?" assuming it had only been a night.

"Eight days," Dong Hua replied with a tinge of annoyance in his voice.

"Eight days?" She tried to ignore that he was in the home she built.

She shook her head. "Apologies, you are all here for a reason" she conjured a tea set and a little food for all to eat.

"There is no need; we are only here to talk, don't waste the little cultivation you have." Dong Hua tried to sound considerate but realised it came out rude and annoyed.

"My cultivation will be fine. You don't have to eat the food," She said while looking straight into his eyes "Please" putting her hand out to the others who were staring at each other awkwardly "Help yourself."

"Thank you Xiao Jiu" clearing his throat and trying very hard to force down a laugh that so desperately wanted to come out, Zhe Yan continued. "We wanted to speak to you about what happened Xiao Jiu. There are things you might have unintentionally created the moment you walked out of their gates with that boy."

"You mean Xiao Yan, what's it got to do with him? He didn't do what they think he did to that princess. He would never"

"How do you know?" asked Bai Yi
