Charlie has had enough playing the bad guy. He really thought he was getting somewhere. But he saw Zayn and Liam walk in to the office smiling and talking to each other, shocking even the employees, and he realized he liked Liam more than he thought. And he just can't keep it to himself anymore.

This is not even about having Liam anymore. He can't regret never telling him about his feelings and think what could have been. If Liam had approached him back in college, he would've been the one who Liam is married to, not Zayn.

Zayn.. Charlie still wasn't sure if Zayn deserved Liam. He was so much better than Zayn, right? Couldn't Liam see that? No point in keeping all this to himself now, is there? He should say it all.

"Charlie.. Why did you call me here?"

Liam got a message from Charlie to meet him at the terrace of the building. It was beautiful up there, they had a garden and everything, to make it look more green. And the view of London from up there.. Let's just say it's the perfect place for a good conversation. Or to enjoy the peace alone.

Zayn was out when Liam got the message and Liam didn't feel like ignoring Charlie. Now that he was sure of his feelings for Zayn, Liam wasn't scared to have a talk with Charlie or anyone else. He knew where his heart belonged and he was going to let Zayn know very soon.

Charlie smiled at Liam. He was glad Liam came. Honestly he expected Liam to refuse. He hasn't given much of a good impression with all his animosity with Zayn.

"It's beautiful here, isn't it?"

A cool wind blow ruffling Charlie's hair. The sunlight made him look blonde. Charlie was preparing his confession. Hoping for a positive response from Liam.

"Yes, it is. Did you ask me here to show me the view?"

Liam walked up to Charlie and stood by him, looking at the city. From up here, London looked peaceful.

"I wanted to tell you something."

Charlie said without looking at Liam. And Liam knew what was coming. He has been trying to play dumb. Trying to convince himself he was just thinking too much. But deep down he knew what Charlie wanted.

"I know what you're going to say."

"I still want to say it."

Charlie turned to Liam which made Liam turn to him as well. It was better when he didn't have to look at Charlie directly.

"I like you Liam. So much."

And Liam just nodded, because yeah, he knew.

"Guessing from your reaction, you knew huh!"

Liam smiled at that.

"You were not exactly subtle."

Charlie smiled back. This is going smooth. But why was he feeling bad?

"And still you didn't reciprocate.. And before you say something, I know you're married, Liam. And you're not a guy to cheat on your husband. But I know what your relationship with Zayn is like. You guys don't even tolerate each other. Is that really how you want to live? Don't you want happiness in your life? Love? Zayn is not right for you."

Liam sighed. How was he going to explain it to Charlie. He doesn't even know half of it. But Charlie wasn't done.

"Liam, when I first saw you at the club, I knew I felt something. And then I found out that you were married.. I would've backed off, but then I saw how Zayn was treating you. You don't deserve that. You deserve better. And each day, I started liking you more and more, damn Liam I really want to kiss you right now!"
