Kareena dropped the plate of sweets she was holding. Dramatic. Yes. But she was already tired from running around and she was tested for low blood pressure as well. Add that to the news that her daughter ran away from the wedding. It's a good thing Geoff caught her before she collapsed.

Liam didn't know how to break the news to his family. But time was running out. He was sure Zayn was in the same dilemma. At least it's not just the Paynes who have to clean up the mess. Is it too cruel to be happy about Raiyyan's eloping? Liam just didn't want anyone to blame his family alone.

"But.. Why? Why didn't she say something?"

Kareena whispered crying. Liam's heart broke seeing his mother like this. The house was silent. They only had the immediate family around them. They still have to announce what happened. Geoff was holding on to Kareena, but he had no idea what to do either. Liam saw Roo crying in a corner looking at all of them. Roo never cries easy. She's such a strong girl.

"Roo, hey, come here. We will find Baaji okay? We will make this alright!"

Liam tried to console her making her cry even more.

"No Bhai.. We won't find her. She doesn't want to be found. It's my fault!"

Liam frowned. What was she talking about?

"Hey.. How is it your fault darling!? It's not!"

"No, it is.. If I didn't give Laila Baaji her phone last night, she wouldn't have talked to Kabir. I should've checked who it was!"

This was news to Liam. Roo was talking like she knew Kabir. Did she?

"Did you know about this? Hey, look at me, I won't be mad at you. No one would. I'm just asking if you knew about this."

"Bhai.."

Roo didn't have to explain because Geoff started talking.

"I know why she ran away! We would have never agreed! I can't believe she thought she couldn't just talk to us!"

Geoff looked so broken. He blinked away his tears.

"Jaan we didn't know.. Both of us thought she was over it. It was two years ago!"

Kareena tried consoling Geoff. But she wondered if Laila kept contact with Kabir after she convinced them that they broke up.

"What are you talking about? Did you know about this? How did I not know?"

Liam asked. He would've kept his mouth shut. But he had to know. All of them seemed to know.

"Oh Liam.. Laila.. Kabir and her met when she was doing some campaign for her company. We have met him. Seemed like a decent lad. But there was something suspicious about him. We had no idea about his family or background or where he lived.. And Laila was naive and in love. I asked Paul, my friend in the police department here, to do some digging. Found out the guy was caught in some drug cases before. He was kicked out of his house. No ties to his family. Lived in some trailer park. We had to do a lot of convincing for Laila to rethink her decision. And yeah, it was true he made her happy. But he wasn't a match to her. And we can never trust someone like that into our family! Laila had a serious breakdown. She went to therapy for three months. You were in college and we didn't want to inform you and cause any problem with your studies.. But she was alright Liam.."
