When the Maliks and Paynes decided for their Son and Daughter to join their families through marriage, Zayn and Liam did not see this coming...
Just another Ziam marriage fic...
But with a desi twist!
It was 10 in the morning and both Zayn and Liam were already at work for enough time that they took a coffee break. Well, Liam took a coffee break, where did Zayn go, he didn't care to check. As long as they can work on this project being civil to each other and don't mess it up, they're fine.
Liam was walking back to the office they begrudgingly share when a mass of blonde hair attacked him. He almost fell back and had to hold onto the person that was hugging him right now, whose identity he still wasn't sure about.
"You absolute jerk! You graduate out of Uni, gets into family business, gets married even, and I don't hear a word about it from you! Why am I being nice to you? I should punch you right here, but your employees might kick me out, and I need this deal with your company. Now say something!"

"I will if you let me say Rita! You are still the impatient ball of energy!"
Rita was Liam's friend in High School. They shared most of their classes and with her loud energetic personality and Liam's shy, polite ways, they blend in perfectly.
"May I ask what are you doing here? I thought you wanted to do modeling?"
Rita smiled at that. So Liam remembers.
"Meh. The agencies were demanding too much. So I just decided I'll do modeling in real life. Look at my new hair! How's it?"
Liam really looked at her for the first time since he saw her today. She looks a bit different from the sleep deprived girl in school.
"It's blonde?"
"Ugh! You're still a loser! Anyway, I'm working with a company that does advertisement and I had a meeting with your company to get us a deal. We give the best ads, I promise!"
Rita looked at Liam hopefully. She didn't come here because it was her friend's company. Actually she didn't know this was the company her boss was sending her to. She would never take advantage of her friends. Definitely not Liam's.
"I'll check with the manager, Rita. Although I'm just another employee here. Baba treats me the same."
Rita knows this. Liam definitely looked like one of the employees, and not like the owner's son.
"So.. Oh, I almost forgot. I saw the other company on my way here. Your family friend's Dad's company? What was his name? The walking hotness?"
Liam pretended that he didn't have a clue who she was talking about.
"Who? Be specific Rita!"
"That guy, you know. Our senior. He was your family friend.. Man, how could I forget his name?? Zac.. No, Zayn! Yes! How's he? Do you see him often?"
Liam once again used his terrible acting skills.
"Oh, Zayn! Don't know. I haven't even heard from Zayn in fifty years!"
